This one was a MistakeWe are partly at fault only because we thought since this was our last day we wanted to be near to the Dublin Airport. Figured it would be convenient. Wrong!!! In spite of the fact that every other B&B allowed Us to check in and were very friendly, this B&B wasnt prepared at the time we arrived. The town nearby was unfriendly and had a town of mischievous unsupervised teenagers running the town. The B&B is not conveniently located and it takes a ton of traffic and winding roadways to find. The room offered was tight and had a small bed for a couple to sleep in. I had to call the B&B central office to find where the hosts were and in spite of the fact that they were friendly, it really came off as a disorganized operation. There was a nice Restaurant off the exit of N7 that seriously mitigated Our poor experience at that stop. I was considering eating the cost and just going somewhere else. Sorry, but it wasnt good. Worse of the five we went to in Ireland.

WONDERFUL HOSTSMy husband and I ended our trip with Mary and her husband at Greenacres. The B&B was updated and beautiful. Mary gave us lots of great advice on how to get around Dublin and get as much in, in the short amount of time we had left. This was BY FAR our favorite B&B of the whole trip. She knew we were heading out very early to catch our flight and left a spread of food out for us in the morning. Thanks Greenacres!!

Warm welcome, gracious host, lovely home - one night stay.Located in the countryside surrounding the city of Dublin. We were warmly greeted by Mary despite our late arrival. Spotless home; tea, coffee and biscuits awaited. Had a wonderful night's sleep in a heated bed, and we were sent on our way with an ample, delicious home-cooked Irish breakfast!

Quaint and simple experience with kind and lovely hostsMary was so sweet and kind. Very quick to reply with any communication we had and very helpful for things to do in the area. The home is an older home but clean and comfortable and served our needs very well. Mary also had a wonderful breakfast for us to start our day. I must address one of the reviews by the realestatemaestre folks, I think they were very unfair and should stay at 4-5 star resorts if that is their lifestyle. While other B&B's were newer, we found Mary's warmth and kindness to be everything we hoped for. As for Dublin.... well it is the largest city so it ain't rural countryside like the western areas of Ireland

RecommendableVery nice and clean rooms. Friendly and very caring housekeeper. Very good breakfast. We experienced a family atmosphere. We also got useful information about the surrounding area. We recommend Greenacres without hesitation.
