    Friday night with friends

    We live near so meet up with another couple for a meal. We were greeted by Jade our waitress who was a lovely young lady and very helpful. She was wearing the shield mask and was very Two of us had the Stilton mushrooms which came on a slice of rustic bread very tasty and my partner had the prawn cocktail looked impressive but he thought the prawns might have been frozen. Mains I had fish and chip which was lovely, two of us had hake and mussels both said it was very tasty and my friend had hunters chicken. Only one of us had room for a pudding and went for an apple crumble with custard delicious We will be back thank you for a wonderful evening

    Liars and charlatans

    Rang at 1pm to book table. Said just turn up and we'd get a table in the bar. Got there to be turned away. Had gone in taxi. Waste of time and money. Won't be going again. Not the only group this happened to.

    Saffron foxwell is such a pleasant young lady. Thriving to make your stay very welcome. Anything I asked was very helpful and also understanding. I rate this young lady 10/10 I will definitely be coming back to the green man okd harlow as I received the most best of welcomes! Such a friend and family pub! Good day out for all!

    I visited the green man hotel with my friends and would like to say how good saffren foxwell is she made our stay very welcoming and nothing was to much trouble for the lady I would be visiting again real credit for the company
