  We have just came back of 11day holiday to green forest hotel the staff were very helpful and friendly .hotel was very clean .entertainment was very good the view of the mountains are breath taking .the food was lovely. There is loads of shops and restaurants outside it's just a beautiful place .I give this hotel 4stars I will definitely be going back

  Lovely Oasis......

  A recently retired couple, we never really fancied holidaying in Turkey but now with a little more time on our hands we thought what the heck lets give it a whirl. Not sure which resort to go to we opted for the Hisaronu, Olu Deniz area and in particular the Green Forest Hotel as it was away from the main town and was a decent base for some stunning walks. The hotel was an absolute oasis, lovely location decent facilities set within pleasant gardens with stunning scenery as a backdrop. The vast majority of the hotel was clean and well maintained the rooms although a little small are perfectly functional and very clean. We were there at the very end of the season so obviously a few areas had be left to slide a touch the Gym facilities were pretty poor and the childrens play area was a little run down. The All Inclusive package was probably not as complete as other European countries but nevertheless was very acceptable. We where there for two weeks so you do expect some repetition in the restaurant and though the choice was limited at times the food was always well presented and tasty. We never had any issues with getting a sunbed, though the usual selfish individuals where still around, and we dread to think what it would be like in the height of summer. The entertainment was certainly an acquired taste but most people seemed happy with it. Without doubt the Green Forests main asset is the staff and apart from the odd one or two everyone was an absolute delight. We always rate a hotel simply by saying would we return? Well we understand the Green Forest is not to be AI in 2020 this is a little disappointing, though not surprising. But without doubt if theres a decent deal available we certainly will consider returning. Our biggest disappointment? As we said at the start of this review we had never previously been to Turkey and this is big, big regret. We loved it....scenery, people and yes even the annoying market traders......loved it! Great to see so many national flags dotted around and will most certainly be returning

  Family holiday

  Our 3rd holiday here in June, the first being with our daughters in 2017, the 2nd time also with our in-laws in 2018, and the 3rd time with our youngest daughter and her friend this year. We started holidaying in Turkey again in 2017 after a 20 year gap having previously visited Kusadasi (x 3);Icemeler and Alanya, Have enjoyed each time we have been. Location is excellent, being 10 minutes walk from the main strip. The choice and quality of food in the restaurant is excellent, with different theme nights most nights. We have seen the odd negative review of the food here and can say that we also holidayed at a Riu Hotel in Mexico this year, and in comparison we feel the food and its quality at the Green forest to be superior. It was good to see this year that the pool bar area had returned to making pizza to order after this had changed in 2018 when the bases had been frozen. The lager at the bar is Efes which is good, Wine is not great, but a dash of lemonade normally sorts it out. A real positive about the hotel is the availability of sunbeds. Never had a problem whatever time of the day getting one. Enertainment is very good, with Erol,Saidou, and Rasit were very friendly and welcoming and made us feel part of the family. We feel that the three holidays we have had here have been excellent value for money. We also have friends who have holidayed at the hotel this year with family on our recommendation and enjoyed it. It will be interesting to see what happens next year, as the hotel is moving from all inclusive to B&B/Half Board which we feel is a shame and it will be interesting to see how they price this with so much competition on this basis in the area. As an all inclusive hotel we would not hesitate to stop here again. Hisaronu is a great place and up there with the best places we have stayed.

  Fabulous holiday

  Beautiful hotel in a perfect location just a couple of minutes walk from the heart of the action! Great service from very friendly staff. Delicious food (definitely came home a few ponds heavier!) we visited once before many years ago and have to say the atmosphere is so much better! Cant wait to visit again

  First holiday in turkey

  Hotel is clean, food brill, ask waiters what foreign food is and they will tell you what it is and what's in it. Rooms clean , very quiet, and a 5 min walk to main shops. Buses constant to other areas, would recommend this hotel, dry friendly.
