  The best experience!!

  We stayed here for a special anniversary a couple of weeks before the virus shut everything down. We feel lucky to have found such a wonderful, welcoming place to stay and relax for a really nice weekend in the Western/Central CT area. We stayed in the Trade Room on the first floor with en suite bathroom and fireplace. It also accesses the backyard and pool for warmer days which we didn't get to enjoy since it was the winter, but it would have been a cherry on top! Jim & Cathy are the best hosts and were always available for anything we could have needed. But there wasn't anything we were needing that wasn't already in our lovely room, including mini fridge with free snacks, drinks, homemade cookies and sherry, robes and slippers. Jim's breakfasts were beyond delicious and their three little dogs were cute as can be and friendly. Both of our wonderful hosts really went above and beyond at every turn. It is obvious they take great pride in welcoming guests to their warm and cozy home. We would definitely love to stay there again.

  Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful

  This is an outstanding B and B. The rooms are beautiful and have everything in them that you could possibly want or need. The grounds are gorgeous and spacious with a lot of areas to sit and relax. There is also a beautiful pool complete with floats... Jim and Cathy are great hosts. The breakfast that Jim prepared was so delicious. You had many choices and Im sure one is better than the next. You have a choice of various locations to dine in, and each one is lovely. Jim is very knowledgeable about the area so if you have any questions involving places to go or things to do, he is a wealth of information. From the moment we arrived until the minute we left, everything was perfect. I highly recommend green Acres.

  Charming Connecticut B&B

  We stayed at Jim and Cathys cozy home For a few nights on a recent visit to CT. I cant say enough about how warm and hospitable They both were to us. The home is beautifully decorated and the bedroom was lovely with a Private bath and very comfortable Bed. The grounds are like A park- lush and beautifully Landscaped. We enjoyed the well maintained pool And choose to have our delicious Breakfasts served poolside. Every breakfast was gourmet and beautifully presented. We brought our dog with us and she was warmly welcomed as well. Hands down this is one of the best B&Bs we have stayed at and we would Highly recommend it.

  Definitely a Hidden Gem

  We were a couple and a friend and stayed in the upstair Suite. The place is spotless and very well appointed! Jim and Cathy were great hosts. They went out of their way for providing the most gourmet and delicious breakfasts! We used their B & B as a base for both Farmington Rail Trails, also terrific...great cycling, All in all i'd recommend staying at Green Acres. No worries re covid as masks are required and everything was spotless!

  Perfect place

  My friends and I had a beautiful stay at Jim and Cathys house. The house is so beautiful. The breakfast was simply amazing. They are wonderful hosts, everything was perfect. Bonus: Jim made us a fire when we arrived, it was so cozy, we loved it. We would love coming back.
