Definitely not worth your moneyWe were put in a room that backed up directly to the loading dock even though I requested a quiet room. I opened the shade to my balcony and I literally could have touched the US foods truck they were unloading directly outside my room. When the upstairs occupants werent allowing their children to run laps into the wee hours of the morning (1:30-3am)the sounds of trucks backing up (beep beep beep) to the loading dock was a rude awakening at 6:30 am. Signs are posted everywhere stating quiet hours and I received multiple text reminders of quiet hours but they dont seem to enforce it at all and dont seem to be considerate of their guests who might be disturbed by early deliveries. While I completely understand they have to run their business, maybe this isnt a good location for a room. Balcony was completely useless due to a view and odor of countless smoking employees and/or delivery trucks spewing diesel fumes. Again, not a great location for a room. We called the front desk to complain about the noise and the room location in general. They sent security to talk to the neighbors but nothing could be done about the room location despite the lodge being at low occupancy due to COVID-19. Food choices were horrendous and extremely limited to a few overpriced junk food items. Think fast food and pizza. I get that this is a kids place but there should be something for everyone since entire families are staying here and not just small children. The full menus would be the kids menu in a normal restaurant. The highlight of the food choices was that there was a Dunkin Donuts on location which was convenient before heading elsewhere to spend time and eat. The water park was ok if you could stand being in there longer than an hour without your eyes tearing and red from all the chlorine theyre pumping in instead of properly balancing the chemicals. To top things off the hotel charged my card for the room rate again even though this was paid in advance. I called customer service who told me that was between me and the location where I stayed since I already checked out. I was finally connected to a girl at the hotel who said she would refund the money and she was supposedly sending a confirmation email. I still have yet to see it processed or receive the email. Seems like Im going to have to call again to hopefully get this resolved. All in all, what was supposed to be a short family getaway has actually been more stress inducing and more hassle than its worth. Stay elsewhere.

OkayFirst of all the staff was great. The person who took my reservations made a mistake. The staff handled the situation and they were very professional, that alone eased the situation. The kids loved the waterpark, bowling and the arcade. The buffet was expensive and it was just okay. The place needs upgrades. Overall the customer service saves this resort.

Great Family DestinationWe live not far from the area, have 5 kids (ages 7-16) and usually end up at the waterparks about 1 or 2 times a year, usually for one of our kids birthdays. The past few years we have been visiting Kalahari, which is bigger. We went to Great Wolf this time, because my son LOVES the rooms at Great Wolf. Both my husband and I left there saying this will probably be where we return to next time. It was just a great trip. Although it is a bit smaller than Kalahari, there is still a ton to do in the waterpark. Maybe because it is smaller, it seemed to be more of a family atmosphere than Kalahari. The hotel staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Everyone from check in to most of the ride operators seemed to have a smile. Also (and for our family this is a big thing) the food inside the waterpark was actually affordable. Being trapped inside a waterpark with 5 kids can add up very very quickly. The food at Great Wolf was maybe a bit more than you would pay at a diner (for example a cheese burger meal was 11.99), but it was big enough to actually fill them up. A great experience for our family and highly recommended.

A fun trupWe were a small group of two families: 4 adults with three kids under 5. When we made our reservation we asked for our rooms to be close together and they generously accommodated us. We bought a birthday party package to celebrate my sons birthday and the kids loved getting balloons to play with. The cake that comes with the package is a huge size! Check in took a long time despite completing the pre check in. Being able to go to the water park while we waited for the room to be ready was a huge plus. This is a smaller resort than I realized. I believe they are operating at reduced capacity and if thats the case, I cant imagine what its like in normal times. Seating in the water park has been adjusted for social distancing, so I suspect they dont have as many chairs out as they would ordinarily. If you think youll want a cabana I recommend snagging it when you book because there are only 8. The water park was great for each of our kids. Its well kept and clean, but if youre like me and a little squeamish about being barefoot at water parks I would recommend water shoes. I think that within the coming years the park is going to need some refurbishments. There is a restaurant and a bar in the water park which was convenient. In my opinion the food here is just OK and it is expensive. The rooms have fridges and microwaves so its pretty easy to bring your own food and drinks in. We overheard some people talking about ordering food for delivery which would be a good idea too. The passes they want to sell you for the various activities (bowling, mini golf) seem to me to be not exactly worth the cost. The staff recommended just buying passes for the two older boys which was a good tip, as before we arrived we thought we needed one for the adults too (you do not). We got the wolf pass, the one that includes the most stuff, for the two older boys and we werent able to do everything the pass included while we were there. Our boys mostly just wanted to play in the water park or the arcade. I would probably just do a la carte next time. We stayed in a kid camp room with themed bunk beds. The kids LOVED the special area carved out for them and sharing a bunk bed. The main area allegedly has a queen bed (but I am pretty sure it was actually a full or a double) which was comfortable. There was also a pull out couch we did not use. The other family staying with us had a room with two queen beds and were comfortable in their room as well. We each had a patio with a really nice view. Over all the resort could stand some updating but it was perfectly comfortable. There is certainly no shortage of things to do and our kids left thoroughly worn out. My biggest tips are to bring in as much food/beverages as possible and dont feel like you need one of the passes.
