  Faultless

  Stayed over one night on the weekend . Had a lovely room which was dog friendly. Food and service were faultless. Eleanor was an excellent host and nothing was a problem. Will definitely be going back again

  Fantastic Boutique Hotel

  Absolutely fantastic overnight stay at this lovely hotel. The room was great with everything you could need and more. The restaurant was lovely and food spectacular, We had the Beef Cheeks and Belly Pork (nicest ever had). The staff were Brilliant and not forgetting, breakfast was also one of the best we have ever had.

  Fantastic Wedding venue

  I would highly recommend this hotel. We had our wedding taking place during covid restrictions, which added some additional challenges and stresses. Elinor and all the staff at the hotel were simply amazing. Available, flexible, responsive, relaxed. The honeymoon suite was large and comfortable with excellent facilities. The food was delicious and veggies and lactose intolerant guests well catered for. We were given all the access we needed to plan our special day. I honestly could not say there was anything more they could have done. A truly lovely, special day enjoyed by all and a fantastic breakfast the next day! We could not have picked a better venue!

  Excellent care and consideration

  We stayed at The Great House, Laleston in mid December for the night before my brothers funeral. Unfortunately my sister became gravely ill that night. The hotel staff were amazing. They made a very difficult time for us as a family, easier because of their care and consideration. They were helpful and there when we needed them, and faded into the background when we didnt. They produced coffee and toast when needed as we came and went at odd times. They accommodated us for dinner, and further nights, at short notice. And finally treated my brother in law fairly when we came to settle up at the end.

  Afternoon Tea

  I bought afternoon tea for my mums birthday, due to lockdown we collected it and brought it home. When I picked it up the staff were very friendly and the afternoon tea was packaged lovely. The cakes and sandwiches inside looked amazing. We also had a gold envelope which contained a menu outlining what we had and a variety of tea. The afternoon tea was simply amazing, enjoyed by all, very big portions and presented lovely. I would recommend to anyone whos thinking of doing something nice with family whilst in lockdown Thank you for providing us with such a wonderful afternoon tea selection.
