  5 star view...1 star for everything else

  Stayed 2 nights at the hotel last week. Though it has a wonder view facing a gorgeous lake and mountains, everything else is poor. Quality of food - Dinner was terrible. Some shredded veggies they called salad. Main course was hard pasta with fish. served with canned mushroom sauce. Bread was served without any soup/butter/jam - Breakfast was terrible. Stirred fried pasta(same pasta type from dinner) with soya sauce. Oily veggies. Frozen peas. Stir fried canned mushroom (same mushroom for dinner)etc....It was the same 2 days i stayed in. - Be prepared to fight for your breakfast with groups of tourist from certain country.Bring your own butter if you need it. All in all, cereals are the best food they offered for breakfast. Room amenities -Certainly not even 3 stars standard. - The bed was very hard. Bed sheets are thin as paper, rough as sand. you can feel every fabric fiber irritating your skin. -Blanket was fraying and torn - Wall paper is peeling off -Dirty carpet - TV is not working In summary, it feels and looks like a boarding house or motel at best instead of a hotel Cleanliness -Generally ok but used tissue papers can be seen at plants pots. Unused signages can be seen on the floor around the hotel. Overall feel It seems the hotel caters its food taste and equipped its staff to attract tourists from a certain country from the east. While enjoying the lake view, you can hear these tourists talking loudly to one another from one balcony to the other. Even the Hotel signboard by the road is so run down that has missing alphabets - an ominous sign of poor standards. This is definitely not a hotel to stay if you are looking for a Swiss-feel stay.

  Worst accommodation i ever stay

  No comment. This is the worst hotel i ever stay. Rooms not standardize, no carpeting, no hair-dryer, cant boil hot water, we travel in winter time, its so cold outside & we need hot drink to warm up ourselves which hotel don't provide. The bed is so hard (just a few pcs of wood cover with bed sheet) which most of us cant have a good rest. Our room has no telephone & other has one but spoiled. Staffs attitude is poor. Not recommended.

  Awesome Scenery and picturesque landscapes

  The hotel is in a glorious location right on the northern shores of lake Lucerne with a superb Alpine panorama and fantastic views. My friend was in room #506 on the 5th floor and I was in room #405 and both had balconies with sensational views over the lake. The rooms were clean, had a spacious wardrobe, a Tv, in-room fridge, coffee machine and two separate single beds with soft mattresses. My personal preference is a firm mattress which provides a more stable and even surface, and so I had disturbed sleep and woke up quite often during the night. The enclosed shower cubicle was spacious with a wonderful GROHE shower BUT lacked a tray to keep the soap and shower gel. There was a hair-drier in the cabinet. We sat in the balcony from 6 pm enjoying the lovely scenery and watching the ferries moving on the lake but at 7pm some noisy Chinese tourists got out of two large coaches and swarmed the parking area making a lot of noise. Then, after checking into their rooms, many of them got out on their balconies and started taking to each other in loud voices. However this situation did not last for more than 20 minutes and thereafter we continued to enjoy the peaceful surroundings once again. The sumptuous buffet breakfast @ CHF 15 had an extensive lay-out with delicious whole fresh fruits, freshly cut fruits, packaged-juice, a variety of breads, yogurts, cereals, muesli, cheeses, coloured boiled eggs and cold meat cuts. I would recommend this hotel for a restful stay.

  terrible hotel ever in my life!!!!!!

  bad staff attitude. no any light in the corridor. the room lock was broken. many bugs in the room. no hot water in shower. The staff just left me room is fulled,nothing i can help. WHAT I TERRIBLE SERVICE?! i stay one night and leave tomorrow (14/10/2018) . hope this morning please come quick

  Worst hotel i have ever lived.

  Why is there have roach in the bed??? They're climbing into my head at midnight!!! And it's also weird that there's a mirror parallel to the bed. Made me have a bad dream and wake up 3.am. I would not recommend anybody to come here again.
