Just passing throughGranzellas was a wonderful surprising jewel of a find in a small community - Williams, CA. The accommodations, staff and food were delightful but I want to particularly praise them for the how seriously they are taking their responsibility to slow the spread of the COVID19 virus. The menus are cleaned between guests, the chairs are wiped down, gloves are available to don at the salad bar, the rooms are sanitized. It was reassuring to say the least. And the deli is beyond wonderful - a delight to the senses of any foodie lucky enough to happen upon it.

Cooled Off our Fire EvacuationGranzella's Inn was a God-send for my family of Five + 2 cats + 1 lizard during the LNU Lightning Complex fire. We were under mandatory evac and I called Granzella's and they got us a room that night, allowed us to pay cash as we went (long story) and was super flexible with us as we kept extending our stay as the fire kept creeping closer and closer to our neighborhood in an almost slow-motion disaster. It was a quite, safe and clean place to keep my family while we waited out the fire. Had a refrigerator, microwave and bar sink making it possible to keep our meal expenses down. Granzella's restaurant across the parking lot was great for morning coffee's and baked goods and has a great hamburger too! When our evacuation was finally lifted 8 days from the start at 6:30 PM on a Thursday night, the manager came in especially to help us check out in order to make sure all our cash payments and AAA discount was applied.. Above and beyond! They really helped to make a tough situation manageable and I look forward to staying there again under better circumstances.

SatisfactoryWe chose this hotel as a stopping between Sequoia and the Redwoods on our roadtrip up to Oregon. The room itself was like pretty much any standard hotel room. It had the basic amentities that you would need. The close location to the deli was a plus as well. I did have trouble getting on to the WiFi, but that may be because of my phone. The cellular service was good enough for me to use my data, anyway. But to conclude, I thought this stay was satisfactory.

Clean and WelcomingOur thanks to the management and staff of Granzella's Inn for the care they are taking to serve guests in a welcoming and safe manner during the pandemic. On our recent one night stay, we were given early check-in before heading out to view wildlife at the nearby refuges. Our room was immaculate and well-appointed. In lieu of the usual breakfast, we were provided with excellent coffee and "grab 'n go" bags with a generous choice of breakfast and snack items. Staff and guests were separated by Plexiglas-glass and masks are required inside the building. Staff directed us to local restaurants where take-out menus are offered for lunch and dinner. All in all, it was as pleasant and safe a travel experience as is possible in the midst of the pandemic. We've stayed at Granzella's before and will do so again.

No titleWe were over charged after Expedia had already charged us for a two night stay at Granzellas. We were asked for a 25 dollar incidental swipe of card but charged for actual stay in room plus the $25. When we asked Devan at front desk on January 2 at 6:30pm she would not help us and she wouldnt let us talk to a manager. She told us to call Expedia. She also hung up on Expedia when they called to try to resolve the overcharge.
