  Small

  We stayed at this hotel as we were attending a family wedding close by. We arrived a lot earlier than expected but the owner said our room was ready so we were able to check in early. The owner was very nice and friendly. However, we were very disappointed when we got to our room. It was very small, we couldn't open the cupboards as the bed was in the way. We couldn't open the curtains properly as they were sticking to the curtain rails, unfortunately one of them came off slightly which we tried to repair. In spite of the above, the room/bathroom was very clean and the owner and staff were very friendly.

  Overpriced

  Stayed for one night. Owner was very pleasant and helpful about the area. Room was small , dated and stuffy so had to keep the window open . As the room was at the front the traffic noise was horrendous and went on into the early hours. Breakfast was a complete let down, we knew it was continental but cheap cheese slices and dried up meats doesn't do it for us. We were offered toast but no choice of bread. Tea was served in builders mugs and was the strength of builders tea. Very disappointing. We appreciate that the cricket was on, (we were there to watch our grandaughter in a dance competition ) but to have paid £152 , in advance ,for this room we feel was terribly overpriced.

  Awful!!

  My friend booked this for one night 2 singles at 60.00 each. We were greeted by a lovely lady however that's where it became not so good. My room was so old and tired and not much bigger than a cupboard with a washbasin and a toilet and shower off. The headboard was dirty and greasy. The wardrobe was mouldy and cobwebs inside. The shower curtain had mould on the bottom. The curtain when closed covered the work surface which held a tray of drinks facilities. The container holding the tea and coffee etc had dirt and sticky stuff in the bottom. I could go on. We did try to get alternative and cut out losses but we're unsuccessful at last minute. I think the 3*** it's grossly over rated..

  Tiny uncomfortable noisy room

  This was the only place we could find for under £100 during the marathon. Really soft lumpy bed, tiny room with just a bed and smelled of smoke, toilet didn't flush properly, curtains didn't cover the whole window so room was bright from the street lights, really noisy from the main road. Fire alarm went off at 11.30pm then noisy people from the car woke up the whole B&B at 3am and staff didn't do anything about it. Breakfast was pretty sad. The only plus was free parking.

  Second visit to Grantham Hotel

  It's a good located hotel, it was our second visit, first was July 2018. Rooms are very good size. The only minus this time was cleanliness, specially in the bathroom, so not sure if we stay there again. Nice breakfast.
