  Amazing beach resort!

  We only had time to spend one night here but we are so glad we did. It is a very beautiful property and the entire staff is incredibly attentive. As soon as we arrived we were greeted with a welcome drink and very easy check in. We had a one room bungalow, which included our own private pool within a private area. It was the nicest hotel room weve ever stayed in! There is plenty to enjoy on the property- multiple pools, hammocks and swings on the beach, beach bar/restaurant, spa and three restaurant choices. We enjoyed the bamboo massage which was very good and an exquisite dinner at the Japanese restaurant, which had very nice private dining areas- would be great for a large family dinner. My only regret is that it wasnt very sunny during our visit so we couldnt fully enjoy the pools/beach.

  Nice hotel by the sea.

  Big and nice rooms. Are laying by the beach, withs is very nice. There were a lot off waves there so we could not take a bath. Good service and food on the restaurants. Wery nice and polite staff. Nice and clean rooms and area.

  Great hotel!

  We stayed here for six nights in early Feb and had a wonderful time! We had booked a deluxe room in the main hotel but were offered a one bed villa at just £40 a night extra which we went for. Very glad we did as they are lovely - very spacious and have their own small outside area with small pool. The staff are amazing - always smiling and going out of their way to be helpful. A particular thank you to Nancy, the Front House Manager for sorting the upgrade and anything else we needed. There is a free shuttle bus to Hoi An which we used each day and ate in the town which was equally great as so cheap but good quality food. Finally, we had five free spa treatments each which were great. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful trip away with all their luxuries. A small point would be to offer bottled water when by the pool but otherwise no complaints.

  We spent our last 4 days in this very clean, beautiful and quiet resort in front of the beach, close to the Marble Mountains and temples, just outside DaNang. Perfect to end there after some busy weeks traveling around Cambodia/Vietnam with a lot of different excursions and fantastic experiences. You can choose between villas and rooms. Our room was beautiful and big on the third floor with sea view and a balcony. The Grandvrio resort is neither huge or small but for us enough. There are 3 restaurants and we liked the Asian best. The breakfast at the Asian had everything, a lot of Asian food but also western. An excellent service all over with a very friendly and helpful staff, polite and always with a smile. There are several free activities to choose between. I participated in the yoga classes (morning and evening) and body balance. It was great! I also had a really good and professional Vietnamese massage (charge). Its also free to use the completely relaxing and beautiful Japanese Bath. I did that several times, sooo good! I highly recommend this comfortable and really clean resort! We wish to come back! Good Luck Sincerely Renée Ottestam

  Outstanding service....shame about the food!

  Firstly I have to say this was an unplanned stay due to being stuck in Vietnam due to the Coronavirus travel restrictions. We had been staying at the Banyan Tree in Lang Co and had to move closer to the airport very last minute. My husband chose this hotel mainly down to the cost. When we arrived my first impression of the room was it was clean and functional / nothing much else to remark on but having moved from the Banyan tree of course there is no comparison. Agoda have this on their website as a 5 star resort and it definitely is not! The food in the restaurants in the evening is nothing short of dire, although breakfast is fine and lots of choice. Fortunately surrounding hotels have great restaurants, we chose to eat at the Naman, the hyatt and the Sheraton and the food was really good at all outlets. The beach is one of the best features of this property, lovely sandy stretches and although the sea was rough the kids enjoyed splashing about in it. I have travelled all around the world as Ive been a flight attendant for 19 years and have experienced all levels of service and quality of hotel. I do much prefer the more boutique style of property rather than huge complexes that cater to the masses. Having said that one thing I absolutely cannot fault was the service we received from Nancy and her colleague Mo. these ladies went above and beyond the call of duty to do anything and everything they could to make our stay as pleasurable as it could be given the stressful circumstances. Nothing was too much trouble for them and they really did an outstanding job of understanding what true customer service is. Even with their limited resources and only having the product available to them to offer I felt that their service outweighed what the hotel lacked in quality. If I owned a hotel Id snap these two up as without a second thought. Thank you again for all you did for us we were very grateful! In summary this hotel is value for money if youre happy to have your dinner elsewhere!
