  for two days i have been trying to get my bill straightened out and they keep blowing off, was told on Sunday everything was taken care of, Monday it was not , i was told the Manager would call back in 15 min. its been 24 hours(NO CALL BACK YET) . also i complained about the BUGS in OUR ROOM, answer was its that time of the season. JUST REFUND ME the OVER CHARGE and I'll stay at another resort on our next trip there.

  COVID hotel

  No adherence to COVID-19 precautions like social distancing or mask wearing were evident in guests and some staff. Twice room service came to my room with no mask. No masks at golf course for either waiters or golf staff.

  Regular hotel rooms vs towers

  We were in traverse for a weekend. We usually stay in the towers which are absolutely beautiful rooms and views but this time we opted to stay in the regular hotel rooms to save money as we were not going to be in our rooms often.....pretty much just to sleep. The beds were really firm. The bedding was comfortable. The bathroom had various stains in the back of the door. The furniture in the room was clean but dated. The towels and linens were fresh and clean. We really like the towers but saved quite a bit staying in the regular hotel rooms. We would definitely stay in in them again if looking to save money. They hotel has a lot of amenities to offer outside the room and that is one is the reasons we like staying at the grand traverse resort. So, if you want to save money and have the amenities the regular hotel rooms work. If you want it all the towers are definitely best way to go.

  Very nice hotel with excellent views

  Stayed at this hotel to see the fall colors and was not disappointed. Check-in process was easy and the person at the desk was very friendly. Room was just what I expected. Hotel's location is close to casino and dining options outside of the hotel. Would definitely return.

  No privacy

  I planned a getaway weekend for my husband and myself for his birthday. The goal was to have a quiet weekend for two while taking in a few winery tours. I'll start with the good. I booked us for massages the first night. Even though they wouldn't accommodate a couples massage, they were FANTASTIC! I have nothing but good things to say about Sara & Clarice. My husband and I walked out of that spa feeling stress free-light as a feather. Unfortunately, the stress started creeping back into my shoulders later that night when our next door room neighbors checked in. They might as well been in the same room with us. We could hear every thing that went on in that room... I mean everything! After about a half hour of this my husband decided to go talk to the front desk about switching rooms. To the resorts credit they were very accommodating and gave us another room two floors up where we enjoyed peaceful quiet until the following when another group moved into the next room and partied until 1am. Believe me when I say I am NOT exaggerating how much you can hear from neighboring rooms. For whatever reason, all the rooms in the tower building are made as adjoining rooms. Someone definitely didnt think this through. I would not stay at this resort again. For the money I paid for the rooms I expected a better experience.
