  Nice modern decor but lacking in some areas

  The hotel is really nice and modern, with spacious and well-designed rooms, including a large entrance area in the room with a huge lit mirror and ample space for everyones luggage. The shower was great, with an adjustable shower head and decent water pressure. Nice big windows (albeit very dirty windows) with great views all around. The room options are somewhat confusing on some sites so I ended up calling the hotel to reserve. The person who helped me with my reservation was extremely helpful and was able to match a price I found online, and getting me the room type I needed. What was less great was the fact that when I arrived to check in around 4pm, the entire lobby and reception area was deserted. Not an employee in sight. After about 10 minute of waiting around, I called the hotel and heard the phone ringing behind the front desk but nobody arrived to answer it. Other guests started arriving behind me and we all wondered what was going on. Finally, one guest spotted a back in a few minutes sign that was placed where it wasnt visible to guests walking in from outside and going straight to the desk. Eventually, the employee arrived and apologized because she had to bring towels to a guest on the 11th floor. She was a lovely and helpful person, but she should not have been the only employee on duty at 4pm on a Saturday. The other disappointing item was the breakfast. We knew it was a continental breakfast and were not expecting much, but we were still a bit disappointed. It consisted of toast, cereal, yogurt, fruit, and some wrinkly hard boiled eggs. No muffins or pastries or anything else. And the juices were so watered down that they were awful and undrinkable. That being said, the breakfast was served on the 12th floor with a lovely view. All in all, it is a very nice-looking place, and with a few small adjustments, it could be really great.

  Not for people with scent sensitivities

  When we got in the main lobby we where attacked by this overpowering cologne smell! Turns out that its the brand smell for lobbies of all Grand times hotels. Good service, big, clean rooms. Pool needs a little TLC.

  Good but not great

  Clean hotel with modern decor. Friendly service. Free breakfast buffet was just ok...the coffee dispenser sat empty for a while and the boiled eggs were waaay overcooked. Disappointed not to find USB charging ports in the room...this is a new hotel after all. The bathroom was nice. Definitely a decent place to stay but nothing to write home about. Didnt check out the pool.

  Grand times is ok

  An ok place with ok breakfast, nothing spectacular except the lobby (impressive at night!) but it is a safe choice, especially for business meetings/conferences at Centrexpo which is connected to the hotel. Fair quality vs price, but it doesn't feel very cozy nor very generous(3.99 water bottle in the bathroom; bread, boiled eggs and cereal + last night or yesterday's fresh fruit for breakfast) Picture is from the back of the lobby, which feels cozier than the rooms for sure.

  Lovely Hotel - but what's with the plastic?

  Hotel room was gorgeous and the staff were lovely. Its very chic overall but we were very disappointed to see the amount of single use plastic and waste at the continental breakfast. Surely you can provide real, washable dishes and utensils and cut down on your carbon footprint.
