  Above and Beyond Service During the Covid-19 Lockdown

  I got stuck in Mumbai on a connecting flight when air travel was locked down in India. I first tried multiple other hotels in Mumbai, but they kept shutting down due to the virus. I finally checked into the Grand Residency, and the service was incredible. My total stay may have been around a week and a half (I'm not sure exactly). I was worried a bit that the hotel would shut down, and the General Manager looked me straight in the eye and told me that I had his word that they would not. And they didn't! Since I was locked in the hotel and unable to do basic tasks. The General Manager was always able to arrange it to be done for me. This included getting my prescription medicine refilled and simply brought up to my room. Since supplies were running low in India, they had to visit multiple pharmacies that had my prescription in stock. The workers there were absolutely as friendly and as welcoming as can be. From the receptionist, doorman, room service workers, and the General Manager. The room service was prompt and the food was spectacular. When the room service comes, they do not simply just fix your bed. Room Service completely gives your room a full deep clean daily with new sheets and pillowcases. The rooms are also well soundproofed from the rooms next door. There is a beautiful rooftop you can go up on to relax, and the rooms have a private terrace attached to them. Most of all, I want to recommend and thank this hotel for their upstanding service during a time of crisis. If I ever find myself in the city of Mumbai again, this is the hotel I am recommending. My anxiety was high at the other hotels I stayed at, but all of those worries were relieved at the Grand Residency. I would't mind living in the room I was in for a long period!   Recent stay at Grand Residency Bandra ,Mumbai

  My mother passed away, quite suddenly, on Feb 26, 2020 and several members of our family traveled to Mumbai for her funeral. Since we were a few of us, we decided to stay at this hotel. We were pleasantly surprised with the excellent service, the variety of food, cleanliness and most importantly, the affable staff. With the funeral over and most of the family returning to their homes abroad, my husband and I had the choice to move out of the hotel and into Mum's apartment for the remaining week's stay in India. However, with the outbreak of Covid-19 and the ensuing 21 day lock-down issued by the Indian Govt., we became one of the thousands of stranded Canadians in India and nevertheless, decided to continue staying at the hotel. Although this didn't appear to be the most economic choice, our decision to continue to stay at the hotel was based on the facts that we were safe & isolated, comfortable and cared for by the friendly and efficient staff. In particular, we would like to especially thank Tariq Chaudhari, the Gen. Manager of the hotel for being so kind to us. Our gratitude is also extended to all staff who were ever so polite and courteous, and helped make Grand Residency our "home" for almost 7 weeks. We were finally able to return to our home in Vancouver BC, Canada after the Canadian govt. organized rescue flights. On our next visit to Mumbai, we will most definitely stay at the Grand Residency.

  Clean and comfortable apartments

  We had taken the one bedroom kitchen apartment and it was very nice clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the balcony which overlooked the street. We cannot comment on the food and beverage part or the service part because The hotel was short staffed during our stay due to the ongoing pandemic restrictions. The location is quite convenient and has a grocery store right opposite. Definitely recommended for anybody who wishes to have an apartment feel stay.

  Awesome

  I had been to mumbai especially to visit Mount Mary Church and as I had brought my mom and aunt I thought of having a stay there for a day and also roam around the place so I just googled for available Hotels and Grand Residency was available and as I had read the reviews so with that I thought of booking the hotel. I called on the number given and spoke with Mr.Tariq The General Manager and informed him I will be reaching around 8-9am so he said the usual check in time is 2pm yet he will make some arrangements when I reach. So the day I reached at the said time that is 9pm, Mr. Tariq was kind enough arrange for a 1BHK Apt there itself and check in immediately. The Door Man was so kind and each time he greeted with a big smile and happily to us that made us feel awesome. The entire staff was very kind and generous throughout the time we had our stay..Cheers to you all. Thank you to all of you. Highly recommend this hotel

  Good hotel, great location

  The hotel is quite good in terms of general maintenance and location could not have been better, considering its located in the heart of Bandra. I booked it for a friend who was visiting and it worked out quite well. Safety precautions were quite good too, just found it bit costly though for similarly situated hotels.
