Nice relaxed weekend get awayIf you want to relax for a weekend, this thermal offers a hammam, several steambaths, a sauna, a pool and much more. The appartments are modern and clean. You have your own kitchen, so you can cook for yourself. The place is quite conservative so alcohol cannot be bought.

A great summer resortWe went with our family in March to the Grand Ozgul village. The room was great. There was one bedroom and two fold down beds for our children in the living room. There was a kitchen as well. Unfortunately the kitchen wasn't well stocked with implements, or even a frying pan. We had to use our Swiss Army knife to cut cheese for sandwiches! The best part of the room was the private hammam bathroom. What a treat to have a soaker tub and sink. I found the water did not get hot enough to make the bathroom steamy though. (I thought it was supposed to be hot thermal water?!) We didn't take the food option as we found it too expensive, and since we had our own car we went elsewhere to eat supper so I can not comment on the food quality. The swimming pool and public hammam was a good price though. As other reviewers have mentioned there is a male pool and a female pool. Since we only have boys in our family, I as the mom, didn't end up swimming at all. I don't love swimming so much that I wanted to go alone. My husband enjoyed the pool with our boys. Included in the 10 TL adult price was: waterslides, hot steam room, cooler steam room, inside/outside pool , hammam (not massage), Finnish Bath with coloured lights, and adventure showers! All guests must wear swim caps which are given for free. (We assume to keep hair out of the pool but nothing is done/said about the men with large beards!) We enjoyed our stay at the thermal resort but would have preferred to come in summer when it was ready for tourists. In the spring, off season, there was lots of construction, a limited staff, and none of the fountains were on. There is a fair size children's playground as well.

negogiate price before bookingThis is the fifth time i stay here and they manage to charge you more each time, so this was my last stay in this hotel. Normally i get there each time without reservation and pay daily between 180 and 200 Tl for a room. When i arrived this time they charged me 2000Tl for 4 days. They said the hotel was complete to jack up the price. There was no cleaning for 4 days and we had to ask every day for new towels. The heating could not be controlled so it was difficult to sleep with temperatures of 28 degrees inside. Food was ok in general, but some days they put some evening leftovers for breakfast. Hamam was not so clean, so be carefull for ear infections, since we had to het to hospital for treatment. The hole place need some fresh up in general.

Was happy only with SPA and foodWe stayed in the beginning of March for two nights, for me and my family was first ever stay in this hotel. Upon arrival I paid for the stay and was expecting Reception desk to give some information. And when I approached the gentleman at the reception he said that all information is gonna give us bellboy, which I consider rude from his side. Bellboy took us to the room, helped with luggage and just showed the direction of the location of the restaurant and the SPA, which was wrong, so later on walking up and down we figured out by ourself. Restaurant food was fresh and nice, staff was busy, but probably it was limited number of waiters. SPA was amazing, Sultan hnm at the SPA reception and Fatima hnm were always ready to help, well done! Highly recommend Golden massage, unbelievably amazing, I felt that I'm in my fav Bangkok. Mudbath and seaweed body wrap are outstanding! Girls who was do it for me (my apologies forgot names) huge thank you! The reservation was for four people in one bedroom apartment, inside of the bedroom was a queensize bed which is cool, in the living room there were two sofas, whish suppose to become a bed...but when we were trying to open and prepare it at night found out that they were broken, both of them. So kids didnt get the bed, they were sleeping on the sofa. Upon arrival we found towels and bed sheets only for two, though reservation was for 4! Bellboy said that they are gonna bring for another two but it took them ages! The hotel is very old and honestly need in renovation, at least furniture! Another important thing is there is no any single ATM in the hotel or place to change currency. I wanted to pay in dollars in SPA area and they accept only Turkish lira or credit card. Ridiculous! We live in 21st century, come on guys! On departure I requested a buggy because we had a luggage and it was quiet far from the reception, Reception crew said that it will take 10-15 minutes...we waited under the rain with kids 15 min and noone came. I called again and she said that pick up is on the way to us and they never came. So I called taxi driver who was waiting already at the reception for us to come and pick us up from the building where we stayed to take us for check out. At the reception I explained that it's not nice to promise and let people wait for so long under the rain and girl started creating stupid reasons for excuse.
