  Lower your expectations for service

  Rooms were not clean upon check in! This place is ran by a teenage boy who has limited understanding of hotel customer service. It seems that the hotel has zero standRooms were not clean upon check in! I had to request a clean-up several times before it occurred 24 hours later. My neighbor discovered a pair of sock resting on the dirty carpet upon the check-in. This place is ran by a teenage boy who has limited understanding of hotel customer service and probably has no reference point to understand the importance of it . It seems that the hotel has zero standards just because it is so inexpensive. Towels were grey and stained although laundered. When asked for better towels I was given another set of tired looking grey towels that can hardly be used for anything. I was told they "boil" their towels and therefore they look so bad. Frankly they are just worn out and need to be thrown away. The bathroom was not heated, so it was very cold to take a shower (I was there when it was actually cold just a week ago). The toilet constantly smelled of sewage no matter how many times you flush. The only two positives for the stay were the homemade breakfast and location. My money was not stolen because I never left it in the room or with any of the hotel staff after reading the reviews. ards just because it is so inexpensive.   Good quality rooms, but poor staff service.

  This hotel is so close to Bukhara's central old town hub and the rooms are comfortable and clean. There is a central courtyard that's lovely and green and shaded. Breakfast is pretty good quality too. However the staff service is what lets this place down big time. They are so slow with everything. It took us about 30 mins to finalise our bill because there was no clarity about what money would be accepted (USD or local currency). Also, be prepared to pay the exact amount as they won't have any change at all. The hotel seems to be run by the young men in the family.

  Avoid the GNordirbek Hotel

  Our itinerary showed us in the Grand Nodirbek, I looked up tripadvisor and though this was OK. However, we found ourselves in the GNordirbek Hotel which is small, poky, dirty, smells of cats and was a disaster. So be careful in your research

  Great service and location

  We didn't have a place to stay and they took us in and gave us a room. They even offered to get us a new room at another hotel if they couldn't provide a room with them for the next day. The staff is really nice, helpful and professional, if you have any problem, regarding your stay in the hotel or otherwise, be sure to tell them as they will do their best to solve it for you. The location is perfect, it is right in the middle of the walking district and you can leave your luggage with them when you have checked out. In the middle of the rooms there is a beautiful garden with benches to soak up the sun. I would definitely recommend this one.

  Good location for a short visit

  Issues with the local electrical supply meant that there was a lack of lighting and hot water at one point during our groups stay. Breakfast was adequate it is buffet style and reasonable variety. Internet ok. The water floor waste trap in the bathroom is located under the bath and was in need of topping up as the bathroom was quite smelly. Service was good. Laundry efficient.
