  Good hotel with reasonable price

  Grand Mercure Teda is good and excellent services in Dalian. Although the location is not in the central city but still in the nice suburb of Dalian and not far from the city. Overall experience staying there for 2 nights was good experience for visiting beautiful city of Dalian with specific caracter of the city.

  Old and a bit run down

  The property is pretty rundown. My suite was spacious but very worn out. The food was awful. The hotel is next to a Mercure with a seafood restaurant that proved to be mediocre. Terrible location. Staff unfriendly. Never felt welcomed.

  I liked the hotel staff

  Hotel Description: The location of the hotel is wonderful and not crowded overlooking the back of the mountain a wonderful and beautiful view, 10 minutes to the center by taxi The room is wonderful and great, clean, good decor, clean bathroom. I liked the hotel staff were all welcome and smiling and everyone helps us. The problem of the hotel is the breakfast restaurant, it must be developed, the food must be varied, the food is lacking, the daily breakfast buffet does not change, there is no food for vegetarians or fish, there is no cheese at all, the hotel has 11 nights, the first two days there was orange juice, Orange can find apple juice, grapefruit and milk only . I hope to look and change their menu style. There is no other buffet restaurant for dinner with a Japanese restaurant and a Chinese restaurant that must be served by the staff. Finally, I thank the management of the hotel and all the employees for their hospitality to me and thank the people of Dalian for hosting me in their wonderful city.

  Nice one, although not perfect

  I have spent more than 1 week here. The room was capacious although obsolete. It must be a great one once, but now it could have a renovation. The bathroom is clean, the fitness is nice, the swimming pool big enough to enjoy swimming too. Which i dont like: the air condition doesnt work in cooling mood! There was 27-28 degrees in the room. They have said, its not possible to get cold air. Most of the staff dont speak english. At the spa we can just communicate by translator program. In a 5 stars hotel its a bit funny. The breakfast is good, although could have been a bit more continental food too.

  great stay

  great stay, nice room, friendly staff. mints drive to the ciity center, rooms got great mountain view. I've stayed in Mercure for many times, the quaility has been consist over the years. complimentary fruit and desert on arrival. The room is clean and comfortable.
