Quiet and clean and great city view! This hotel is so nice, clean and quiet! Near to Alrashed mall, just 2 minutes to be there. Near to Aldhahran mall and Ikea. Good services. Nice view with big glass windows. I like it and I'd like to go back again.

Hotel is ok but service poorGrand Mayral looks very nice from the outside, its in a great location but the service lets it down. It's a 30 second walk from Rashid Mall (Biggest mall in area) Around 10 minute drive to beach and maybe 20 minute from the Bahrain bridge. Rooms are standard, the main thing is that it is clean. It has a basic kitchen. normal bathroom (bath with shower) The TV doesn't have much English channels and they change them with no notice (at one point there was no English channels) Plenty Arabic channels though. The wifi is very poor and no matter how often I would report it they would do anything about it. Breakfast is very poor and tastes like it is not fresh, just go across to the mall for breakfast. It does have a fantastic gym, one of the best I have seen in a hotel. Its on the top floor and there are great views from it. They claim they have a swimming poor but it was not open for the 6 weeks I stayed there, always under maintenance (means its not finished more like) OFW staff are ok but the local staff ruin the hotel, never helpful and never fix anything in a timely manner that is reported. Its not the worst hotel in Khobar but I'm sure better can be found.

Everything SuperiorStayed here with my wife for one night. Property is very clean and tidy. Rooms are very spacious. Breakfast is very good. Location is perfect as it is just a few meters away from the famous Rashid Mall. They have private guarded parking for free. The staff are helpful and friendly. I will definitely book at this nice hotel every time I come to Khobar.

In needs for intensive staff trainig and educationThe suites are somewhat clean, but the sheets aren't replaced after each visit because they smell bad. This is my 2nd booking in the hotel & the problem happened in both visits. In addition, the staff, specifically the housekeepers and receptionists, are totally unprofessional and clearly illiterate in their profession. The housekeepers are unaware of the basic housekeeping items such as replacing empty tissue bins. Add to that, we found a bowl of fruit that we bought from the supermarket was eaten by them. And the receptionists are another story. Their behavior is anything but professional. We have seen them requesting and eating breakfast in the restaurant with the guests. Their communication style also reveals the level of their training as well as the level of strength of the higher management. I called them asking to be transferred to the housekeeping department. The conversation went like this literally: Me: would you please transfer me to the housekeeping department ? I tried to call them but no body answered. The receptionist: what do you want ? ( In a rude offensive way ) Me: I want to report something to them. The receptionist : tell me what do you want ( with the same tune as before ) Me: ( I told him about my problem ) The receptionist : ............ ( Silence ) ......... Hmmmmm. I will tell them. Bye Me : !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If the residence continued with the same level if uncliness and unprofessionalism, I expect that it's not gonna end up well in this industry. Note: I rarely write any reviews, if not ever. I have waited until my second visit to write my review so I would write a fair one.
