  Big basic room

  Hotel is a 15 min drive from Sri Racha proper (south toward Pattaya). Located in a small village with a few eateries and bars - nothing of note within walking distance, so you would need a vehicle unless passing through. The good; Room was huge (30m square), bed ok, hot shower, lockable safe, big fridge, ample storage. Parking free. Clean sheets. No bugs in room. Aircon. Wifi (very flakey) The not so good: very basic. We had a ground floor room which meant some noise and no natural light. No tea/coffee. No jug. Staff no English (although friendly enough). Big boring room with no seats. Small bathroom. We paid 1000 baht. About ok for the price I guess, have had better, have had worse.

  Okay

  We visited this hotel on the way to cross over into cambodia. The hotel is nice, room is spacious and comfortable and balcony is good! Hotel was nice enough and the food we tried was good! However, the area was very industrialised and there were no busses or trains to get around! Also no body in the area speaks english so it was hard to communicate! The staff were nice at the hotel and tried their best!

  last minute overnight stay

  I found myself out a bit later than expected in Si Racha, looked like it might rain so I searched for a hotel online. Many hotels were fully booked. I ended up at Grand Mariana and was pleasantly surprised for the approximate $23/night spent. Big clean room, great water pressure, hot water, nice comfy bed. all well worth the price paid. The hotel is a bit hard to get to if you do not have your own transport. Staff were friendly.

  The Grand Marina Residence

  The hotel rooms are clean and modern, which is the only good thing I can say about this hotel. The swimming pool was rife with insects and looked liked it hadn't been cleaned for months. The restaurant staff were incompetent. I ordered a chicken steak with BBQ sauce. When the food arrived it had no sauce, when the corrected the mistake it took 30mins for the sauce to arrive, which meant my steak was cold. When I ordered soft drinks they had none is stock and had to wait until they came back from 7/11. The staff and food was of a low quality. I would not recommend this place to anyone, unless you are a student, because all the people I saw there were student residents.
