  A very good hotel, but let down by poor details

  I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. First impressions were great. The interior of the hotel is light, modern and pleasant. First impressions for the room were also great. The room was huge with a separate bedroom, bathroom and lounge/kitchenette. It was clean, bright and the aircon worked (although the thermostat was a bit random). You get 2 TV's with access to over a thousand satellite channels, about 20 of which were in English. The bed was comfortable and the blackout curtains were excellent. I was on the train track side so did get woken by the odd passing freight train in the night. The bathroom was well decorated with good fittings and a separate glass shower cubicle with an excellent shower. All sounds great but then you get the negatives; - didn't make-up my room after the first night. - only 2 coffee and tea bag sachets which had to last me 2 days! - only 2 coat hangers - great kitchenette furniture but no cook top or microwave to heat or cook food. - only 2 bowls provided (no plates, no washing up gear, no utensils, etc.) - sparsely furnished so not only did it not feel homely, but it echoed. - room safe was broken (like unfixable broken) - only 1 tiny bar of soap provided - no hand towels provided - WiFi at the limits of its range in the bedroom but OK in the lounge area Each one is a small point but there were lots of them. The management needs to stay a night in their hotel and act like a guest and then they will realise that the little things make an average hotel a very good hotel. I hope they read this and act on these little things because I probably would stay here again.

  Still Deciding

  Location was very easy to find and the fact that many restaurants are located within walking distance is always a positive point to mention. Checking in was extremely smooth with a warm kind welcome by the receptionist. Room was very clean and very well kept, lounge had new furniture with basic kitchen utilities for use, without a cooking top, though they do offer complementary water bottles, tea bags, coffee sachets etc. Bathroom was decently sized and very clean with the necessary amenities required. Room size was adequate whilst bedroom furniture again was new. WiFi was generally acceptable though at times signal was poor within the bedroom. I would declare this an ideal place had the daily rates of 400 sr be lower, I find it slightly expensive for what I received.

  Good for short trips

  We enjoyed the stay at Grand Lily. it is clean and affordable. And its location was near my work The staff is friendly and helpful The only concern is that it is near the railway..So we hear all the trains passing by !

  Nice place

  . " " " . Very nice and friendly reception staff . Excellent room size and very clean . Nearby free parking . Nice breakfast. Only downside is the toilet. Setting on toilet like riding a motorcycle its very high my legs cant reach the floor. I know am short but am not that short 166cm

  Nice clean decent hotel for families

  The hotel is new and maintains cleanliness. Ideal for families. Spacious two bed rooms. Baskin Robins , Daminos , Krish creme in the same building. Main road but still have ample parking space, privacy and sound proof. Break fast is limited but it was good .
