  Very welcoming even at this time

  This was our first trip to Jersey and this hotel gave us such a friendly welcome even when initially wecwere waiting for a test result after arriving. All the staff in every area were cheery and relaxed. We were given a large room with an amazing view of the beach so it was easy to escape the current worries. Opposite the hotel is a hire bike station so a ride along the promenade was a must, plus a visit to Elizabeth Castle also in the view. Love it in Jersey..will return soon hopefully,

  Great stay

  In troubled times go for the comfortable and familiar so we went to Jersey for a refreshing break, we had not been to the Grand before but it turned out to be an excellent choice. We received a very warm welcome and the COVID changes were clearly (but pleasantly) explained to us. We had planned to eat most meals except lunch in the hotel and we had hoped their restaurants would be up to the task of providing good food. In Tassili our expectations were well exceed, the tasting menu with wine flight was stunningly good. The main hotel restaurant (Victoria's) was fine for breakfast and dinner but the Champagne Bar was a little disappointing. Service everywhere was excellent and often went above and beyond (yes, Luis at the front desk was a gem). We had asked for a room with an accessible bathroom and we got a full wet room, which was nice and although it worked well enough there were one or two design flaws. I mentioned these to the duty manager and subsequently with the general manager and both were very attentive and the GM listed the steps which were already in hand to address them, excellent customer service from Shaun.

  Amazing hotel

  Took my mum away for a break, hotel was gorgeous, we had a ocean view room which was spacious and amazing view of Elizabeth castle and the sea. The service was amazing from start to finish, on arrival was greeted by Hugo who checked us in, gave us some local area knowledge and carried out cases up to our room for us. Breakfast was great few odd mishaps but were solved promptly by the lovely girl working in there who said she was from Romania (missed her name). The pool area was lovely and clean and towels given to you at spa entrance, due to Covid only pool was open but was still nice to chill out in. The bar area is lovely with great views and Permina (lady) was very polite and helpful on all the times we were in there. Also Chantelle and Luis were extremely helpful on check out storing our bags and ordering us taxis. Service from all staff was always with a smile and nothing was too much of an ask. Will definitely be back again

  Amazing

  We stayed here for 5 nights and it was absolutely amazing. I cant fault anything at all. They housekeeping didnt visit or room until you have a negative COVID test result (which only took 24hrs to come through) but if you needed anything you could call and theyd deliver it to your door. Once the housekeeping team were able to come in the room was spotless. The breakfast was amazing. We were served by Kipp while there and he made us all feel welcome and kept my 2 year old happy and entertained. We ate lunch and dinner a couple of times too and the food and drinks were great. The only thing was waiting for the bill. The staff were very slow on a couple of occasions and but things in the bill we hadnt ordered but it was sorted quickly. The reception team were lovely and when we arrived before check in they took our bags and while we were out they had put our luggage in our rooms for us. Its so close to the centre of St Helier and easy access to the bus station to go all over Jersey. Across the road is the beach and a beautiful view of the cast. Would I return? Of course!

  1 night stay

  I recently stayed at the Grand and was very impressed. Before our stay we were called and informed that we had been given a free upgrade, when we arrived we had been upgraded to a large room with a balcony and a stunning view. The staff were super friendly and willing to help and the service was amazing. I was surprised at how cost effective the stay was and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Would definitely go back.
