Exquisite Stay Above my ExpectationsMy family was astonished upon arrival at the hotel after a long drive across Italy. Although it is a hidden gem and our gps was a bit challenged locating it, we arrived at unexpected luxury, especially in regards to the rate. The staff was overly friendly and helpful. The restaurant was great and the service was unparalleled, guided by the best head waiter, Mario. We stayed there to see the Shrine of Padre Pio. The drive was easy and interesting seeing a region on the upswing. Please don't hesitate to contact me if you need any more information on this great hotel. Philip Vasquez and Digiorgio Families.

This is far from 5 star hospitalityI stayed here resently from september to november 8 weeks in total the hotel is seriously miles away from anything and a car is essential the side road to the hotel is in disrepair so drive carefully the hotel boasts a bar but there is no bar as such you can get a drink but you will be sat behind a curtain as my colleagues and i were, out of sight not welcoming at all its not like you can go to a bar take a stool and ask for a drink from a bar man and have a chat with friends doesnt exist. On arriving to my room which were away off grounds from the reception i found it dark and old fashioned the room did have a safe which was a bonus also TV and coffee making facilities my double bed was two singles together which doesnt lead to a good nights sleep i found myself getting bit around the legs while trying to sleep and woke up with bits on my legs this stopped after a week.I had checked to see if the hotel offered any training facilities before arriving as i workout back home so i was pleased to see it advertised a fitness suit but i was shocked by what i found a 1980,s multigym 1 bike and 1 running machine all very old equipment in a hallway in the basement. As i was on a working assignment i needed to launder my clothes every week so i left them for collection on a saturday morning and received them back on the following tuesday this meant i had to wear good clothes to work not 5 star treatment at all.Everytime i worked away from home and stayed at hotels for long terms i would always receive a call from the management thanking me for my custom and if there is anything they could do to make my stay with them more comfortable do not hesitate to ask, this hotel made no contact with me in the whole 8 weeks. The pool was dirty and myself and my colleagues asked could it be cleaned we got the reply the season is over as we were the only ones staying on a constant basis and we were having temperatures of 27 degrees we told them we will still be using it,they still refused.A taxi to the near by towns of Lucera and Foggia cost 70 return we asked can we be bus in using the shuttle to save some money we were also refused it seem this hotel did not want to help.I will be advising my company to use another hotel in future.

STAY AWAY 2-star maxNow this was an interesting one - it market itself as a 5-star online and it reads "grand". Completely misleading information and I personally think they should get fined for this. Anyway it was only a one night stop for us and yes we should have left but seeing that we already paid and wasn't sure where else to go after a long day driving we decided to bite the bullet. We could not even get food and it's in the middle of nowhere - they had local weddings on. Which left us pretty stranded with NO bar open, NOT even a restaurant open. NO food combining with a pretty horrible room (no need to go into detail) - I wasn't even brave enough to shower in the bathroom. STAY AWAY.

Holiday stopoverUnfortunately this hotel is stuck out in between two towns, Foggia and Lucera. Taxi into Foggia 25 euros taxi into Lucera 35 Euros. Bar facilities are minimal, no wine available! The hotel is set up more for business trips or weddings. There is a restaurant for food in the evening which isnt linked to the main hotel. However there is a wedding today and we have been advised that the restaurant is closed, so we dont know how and where we are going to eat tonight. Nice place but not geared up for tourists.

Really disappointingWe stayed one night in this hotel and luckely it was not for a long holiday... The hotel (structure itself ) is nice, looking like a resort, spacious room and clean but this is the only positive point. It is not at all a 5 stars hotel speaking of services provided, the hotel was completely Empty of employes, everything closed (big pools, no room service) it look like a ghost hotel. we saw only one receptionist (not polite at all and with a really really bad english) and only one waiter for the breakfast (same in term of politeness... and really disappointing breakfast). Luckily the prices were not high (wondering why at first) but I really dont recommend that place. Used to travel in 5 stars hotel, this is far from being one. To finish, the coronavirus safety regulations are really low, no mask for the receptionnist, the hand gel is only available at the entrance but It is empty so no disinfectant gel in the hotel at all, and the waitress of the breakfast keep remooving and reputting the mask and touching her nose and face in between just before touching your plate to bring them to you. I didnt felt safe at all for that.
