Could be a lot betterHad a big family holiday here five rooms in total we were about five days in total without hot water so had to have a freezing cold shower not good had to ask for towels about five times when the cleaner did not leave us any wifi only worked in some rooms very slow there were plenty of space in rooms and they were clean there was only a bath with a shower head on the taps so had to hold it yourself when showering would not take much to put a hook up for shower head and a shower curtain would be much better could do with more draws for clothes breakfast was very good bar and breakfast staff were very helpful I would say this was more like a three star hotel only. try to get a pool view we were in a room to the left of the hotel when facing it all we could here was dogs barking at night and very early in the morning at 5am onwards not a very nice way to wake up this hotel could be a lot better if a bit more effort was made.

3 stars, no moreIt's not a 4*L (luxury). Heck, it's not even 4*... It's kinda like a wanna-be budget 4 star hotel. We have been to a deluxe room, and it was tiny tiny, with only a shower. A royal room (one class up) had a bath with jets, but it was even smaller than a deluxe room. I can only imagine what their standard room looked like. We took a look at a junior suite and it looked like a normal standard room in any other hotel. The staff wanted to charge us 30 extra per person per night for the junior suite room. Obviously, we didn't take it, it just wasn't worth it. Amenities - again, not 4* hotel amenities. There wasn't actual shampoo, but shampoo/bath foam. Forget about hair conditioner or body lotion. However, there was a vanity set and a shower cap. Bathtub: Jacuzzi jets worked properly, but somehow the bathtub leaked water. We had to call reception to ask for more towels to dry the floor. I think it leaked when jacuzzi was used. The water wasn't hot enough. Sometimes it was barely warm. Once I climbed in the bathtub and the water turned completely cold after a while, so I was freezing in the barely warm water with wet hair, hoping for the hot water to come back. Oh, and my husband called reception twice while I was in the bathtub. It took them about 15 mins to fix it. All while I was freezing in the bathtub. Often the water was cold. We would keep it running for minutes and it'd get barely tepid, but no more. So annoying. Do I really have to wait 15 mins to wash my hands after using the bathroom?.. However, the water stream was very strong, it's a good thing. Too bad I couldn't enjoy it properly. The bed - one bed with two single mattresses put together... There was an extra pillow in the closet, but no actual blanket - just a bed cover and a sheet. The mattress was old, I could feel springs with my back. So much for a 4*L hotel... But I have to admit it was clean everywhere. The AC - there's central heating system. You have a thermostat in the room for some reason, but you can't regulate the temperature. So, it was always set at around 25 C, 77 F. The dinner. It exceeded all expectations. The dining room is in this classic style, with white tablecloths, fine silverware and chandeliers on each table. The waiter (Dante) was wearing a very nice uniform, he looked very elegant and acted professionally. He always spoke in a soft, gentle voice. Many waiters all over the world should learn from him! I'm sure he's got years of experience under his belt. We were so pleased with his service that we left him tips a few times (which isn't common in Italy). The food was amazing too, everything. My husband was ordering house wine every night and was very pleased with it as well. It was also pleasant to see a card with our name on the table each time we came for dinner. Nothing is on the house here - water, coffee, tea, amaro - you have to pay extra. The SPA: 50 euro for two for 50 mins, spa kit, that's basically a robe and slippers, is 7 Euro extra. We brought ours. What I actually liked is that they reserve the time for the guests, meaning if I'm coming I know there will be no other people. On the other hand, the SPA is small that it simply can't accommodate more than 2-3 people at once. What I didn't like is that instead of leaving me in the SPA area, instead there was a lady who was bringing us from one place to another. But what if I want to stay longer in one place?.. Can't I decide where to stay and how long (within 50 min period) instead of being decided for? It's not like I can get lost there, the spa is super small! The sauna was barely warm. The first day is it was about 41 degrees (instead of required 70, which is a minimum). The second day it was around 38 and the third day it was 32! We just skipped it the last day as it didn't make sense to stay there. My husband called it a "toy sauna"... They explained that it's not hot, cause there were people before us who didn't like it hot. Ok, but could they bring it back to sauna temperature for the next guests?.. Another explanation was that the door always gets opened and closed, so it loses heat. Sorry, but it's a lame excuse. ;-) Wifi: it was coming in and out. We talked about it to the receptionist. It helped. The highest download speed was 5 Mbps. Giving all these issues - wannabe SPA, leaking bathtub, no hot water, spotty wifi, tiny rooms etc, we decided not to stay there 3 days as planned, but to check out the next day. I'm sorry, but these issues shouldn't be happening in a 4 star hotel that adds "L" to their title! But now let me be fair and continue with a better note. The next day when we were planning to check out, but we woke up really late, at about 12. First of all, it was too late to check out; second, Antonio the receptionist was willing to target all the issues. He offered to move us to another room if we wanted, but we didn't. The also promised to send someone to check on the bathtub to see why it's leaking. They raised the temperature of the boiler. They talked to IT about wifi. We overslept our breakfast, but they served it special for us at almost 1 pm, bringing bunch of pastries and cooking eggs for us. Also upon our arrival there were rose petals in a heart shape on our bed - a small surprise from my husband and the staff for our romantic getaway. I also appreciate that the housekeeping came when we were out for SPA. They didn't bother us knocking on doors at 11 am, as many hotels do, so we are able to sleep in as much as we wanted. I appreciate that the lady in SPA brought us some delicious infusions while we were in the jacuzzi/hot tub. Yes, there were many inconveniences, but Antonio and Enzo were willing to work on them and accommodate us. And we appreciate it. In the end, we decided to stay all 3 days as planned and we didn't regret it.

Lovely staff but old fashioned and overpricedWe got the room super cheap and was ideal to stop here for a night, the best thing about the hotel are the staff are lovely really helpful and very professiona, I being pregnant and they were super kind to me. The room was fine for what we payed and was very clean and comfortable with aircon and the bed was nice. The downside was the hotel to me seems very old fashioned even how the staff dress is very formal but not of this era, we had to pay to use to pool again a bit odd but we did pay and to be honest I didn't swim as the pool was so so cold, they did take it off the bill though without a problem again nice customer service. We booked a couples treatment with a massage which was nice and the lady did me a special pregnancy massage which again was so nice and I was grateful, however the rest was a let down as we payed 50 each to basically have a massage and use a steam room and jacuzzi which I didn't think was worth it, then shocked to see we payed 14 euros the dressing gown to use in the spa, so all in all we payed 114 euros for a massage and half an hour in a jacuzzi. I am sad to have to write this as again the staff at this hotel were very very nice and I just think it needs updating and price check.
