  buen hotel

  muy buen hotel, superior a lo esperado, muy buena atencion a cualquier necesidad, el unico pero que le pongo es que esta algo retirado de la ciudad y es algo costoso el ir y venir diario en taxi, pero es recomedado por el area en que esta

  Very Nice Stay

  I stayed here for a 3-day conference with other travel group leaders from the United States. This was my first trip to Rome and I really enjoyed the accommodations. The staff was very nice, the room was perfect for my needs, and the area was beautiful. Other people have noted that the beds were hard, but I like a firm mattress, and was so tired that I do not think I moved at all throughout the night! I wish that breakfast had included more protein, but I understand it is not common in Rome. I think the unique rooms, stairs, and elevator were part of the inherent charm, but I do wish they would replace the stained hallway carpet.

  Great view, average room

  The view from this hotel is beautiful and the setting is very peaceful. The room decor is dated, but our room was spacious even with three beds and the bathroom is large. My biggest complaint was noise - from the people on the balcony beside ours and from the rooms above. It sounded like they moved furniture all night! Contrary to what you typically hear about air conditioning in Europe, ours worked well and the room was cool However, others in our group only had a fan in their room. Our room was as pictured on the website.

  Muy bonito propiedad muy regular el hotel

  Las fotos no mienten porque el hote se aprecia que hace muchos años fue un hotel muy lujoso elegante, sin embargo llegando se percibe falta de inversión para tenerlo actualizado todo el mobiliario es bonito pero muy viejo El restaurant decepciona la carta es muy corta y la pasta que pedi la tuve que regresar, estaba incomible Utilizamos este hotel sólo una noche porque al otro día volábamos del aeropuerto de ciampino que está muy cerca Si es su única opción para quedarse porque van a tomar vuelo les recomiendo llegar cenados o comidos porque cerca de la propiedad no hay alimentos Ojalá pronto lo actualicen porque, repito, la propiedad es muy bonita

  Great location and view - dated rooms - lousy food

  This hotel had its charming days in the passed. The view, surroundings and the location are unbeatable, but the decor (interior and exterior) has seen better days. The marble staircase with the wooden handrail and decor are still impressive without a doubt. Our room was spacious, but the shower in the bathroom was "pressed" into the corner. There was hardly any room and it was leaky = wet floor around the shower area after the shower. It was quiet during the night and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was not very good and was missing quite a few things. They didn't have any scrambled eggs or bacon, which disappointed me, since we were in a Grand Hotel. Most of the staff was friendly, except for the waitor in the dining room during breakfast. He obviously doesn't know how to smile or at least how to be friendly. All in all it was not a bad, but also not a good experience staying there. Apart from the breakfast, it was a relatively good value for what we paid. In the future we would rather choose to stay directly in Rome because of the long commute.
