DON'T DO ITMy family and I stayed one night. We thought it would be a fun, quick trip before going back to school. I read their policy on Covid and felt like they would be stepping up their sanitation. I was WRONG! The waterpark tables and rafts were NEVER once wiped down while we were in there. I thought our room would be better, nope! The light switches and door handles were dirty. I used a baby wipe to wipe both down and was disgusted how dirty they are. I didn't wipe anything else because I was scared of what I'd find. The doors were visibly dirty, too. My kids wanted to play in the arcade. Nobody was in there wiping anything down once while we were in there. I am very disappointed in my trip and wish we hadn't come. My family hand sanitized and washed hands a lot, but I'm still nervous we're going to get sick. DON'T GO HERE!

Would not stay here again, but would go to waterpark after COVID.I'll start with the positives: The housekeeping staff were so kind! They brought an extra blanket to our room asap and were really friendly when I stopped them in the hallway needing extra towels in our room. They also wore masks! The bed was relatively comfy. Too firm for my liking, but by hotel standards it wasn't bad and there were plenty of pillows on the bed. The room overall was a really nice size (we had a junior king suite) and things were generally clean in our room (except for some mystery liquid that had been spilled and dried on the desk chair). The breakfast was large and staff were enforcing that folks wear a mask and gloves while going through the line, but the food was mediocre at best. The negatives: Where to start... probably my biggest disappointment was that there didn't appear to be any precautions taken for COVID. The front desk staff and housekeeping wore their masks, but that was it. I didn't notice any extra cleaning happening, the lifeguards and employees in the waterpark (food stand) were not wearing masks, tables in the waterpark were not spaced out, I don't think there was any kind of capacity being enforced in the waterpark (there was no one at the door counting people in or out, so I can only assume), etc. Although some tables in the breakfast area were marked as being closed for COVID spacing, no one paid any attention to that and moved the tables all over to be with their group which left minimal (if any) social distancing happening in there. The elevators... It appeared to have been a very full hotel both Friday and Saturday - there were a ton of kids/teens there for a hockey tournament as we learned while chatting with people in the elevator. We had plenty of time to chat with folks as our room was on the 7th floor and at one point, we got in the elevator only to go down to the second floor, let a few people off, then go back to the 7th floor. We hit 1 again, the elevator went down and up (not stopping anywhere) and opened again at 7. We tried a 3rd time (one person in our group truly can't do stairs) and finally got out when it stopped at 2 again. I reported this to the front desk and she was very dismissive of me and it felt like this wasn't the first time she was hearing about the elevator. Two separate times over the weekend, we waited 15+ minutes for an elevator. I have a 4 year old and 1 year old - I suppose we probably could have done 7 flights of stairs, but it didn't sound like fun after dinner with the kids or with our luggage, especially not after they waited in line for 15-20 minutes for an elevator. This also led to people stuffing into the elevators like sardines, which wouldn't be awful outside of COVID. It's clear that the hotel was built a while ago and has seen some love. The furniture in the room was clearly older and we had to hunt for plug ins for our phones and my husband's c-pap. That said, the waterpark was fun - I just wish there had been a better capacity enforced and that mask wearing when not swimming was actually being enforced. After COVID, we will stay elsewhere and come to the waterpark only.

Will not be coming back soonIm a single parent and wanted to take my kids (ages 3 & 8) for a one night stay. We planned on spending the whole day at the water park and then crash in our rooms to relax. I called in the morning before heading out and they said we couldnt get into the water park until 2pm. They explained that they were full the night before so not sure if our room would be ready by then but we could check when we arrive. We decided to go to the Mississippi River museum right next door while we waited. We had a fun time exploring the museum and then headed over to the hotel about 1:40. Two people were in line in front of me and got rooms so I was feeling hopeful. Then I was told they didnt have a room ready but I could get the pool passes and by the time we were changed into our suits our room might be ready. So we dug through our bags and found our suits and got changed in the locker rooms which were really dirty and crowded. I headed back to the front desk and asked if a room was ready and was told no. The front desk person at that time said it might not be ready by 4pm which is the check in time. I argued back that if I dont get a room by 4 that I would expect a late check out then. Another front desk staff person stepped in and assured me that the room would be ready by 4pm and I thanked her. I then asked if there was a storage room that we could leave all our bags. I was told no. I explained how difficult it is to haul our bags back and forth as a single parent. I also explained how difficult it is to be able to swim from 2p on check in day until 2pm the following day when check in is 4pm and check out is 11am. There is really no benefit at staying at the hotel. I ended up getting a room around 3:08 and the staff came into the pool to let me know (which was really nice of them) but at that point we were all wet and our belongings are in the car so just a big hassle. If I come again I will most likely find another hotel to stay in and purchase a day pass so that we can spend the day there like we had planned. We dont generally swim again in the morning because at the end of the day we want to shower and there would be no way to do that if you swim past 11a when you have to check out of your room. Unless you want to haul your stuff to the car and shower in the dirty locker rooms. We came on a Sunday and the water park at 2pm was packed. There was no dry place to put our towels down until one family gave us a chair. Once we finished swimming and got to our room we did have a relaxing stay and ordered food from Tony Romas which we all devoured. The kids menu had baby back ribs which my kids loved along with the fries and I enjoyed a delicious New York steak. I hope this review is helpful to anyone else trying to plan a fun trip.

Don't waste your money!!!We got there around noon, I tried to check in early to see if our room was ready & it wasn't no big deal. I asked if we could get our wristbands to the waterpark then? Staff told me no, we had to wait till 2. We had a group of people with toddlers, finally my fiancee went in & the staff ended up giving him the wristbands, so we went in 2 hrs early. We booked 2 rooms they were suppose to be conjoined & they weren't, I called 3 times to be sure they would be. They only had 1 working elevator, so people were cramming in there, some with no masks. We took the stairs most the time. Our room was not the cleanest, if im spending 250$+ on a room for one night, my room should be spotless. The door would not latch properly. We also had to call the maintenance guy to come fix our tv. Oh & Free WiFi, that's a JOKE! Doesn't connect. Went down to the arcade in the evening & there were lots of people not wearing masks. Walking back to our room, I asked the lady at the front desk if it was at half capacity, she told me no they have a mask mandate. I told her she should go look in the arcade They are not enforcing it by any means. But the topping on the cake was my 2 yr old daughter & I had to WALK up to our room freezing cause they had NOOOO towels out! If you know you have a full house, be prepared next time! We will never be back! Waste of $
