  Not so grand afterall.

  We stayed for one night in the family room. The room is spacious to fit 4 single beds. The room looks dated and toiletries supply were limited. The water heater wasn't working when we checked in but miraculously worked the next morning before checking out. The staff wasn't helpful. There is another flight of stairs leading up from the lobby into the hotel itself. Surprisingly, there wasn't anyone to help bring the luggage into the hotel until you asked for assistance. When we requested for extra towels, they did not send quickly until after we went out and returned to the hotel at night and requested the 2nd time before they bring the extra towels to our room. For the price paid and service received, would rather find other hotels next time.

  The Room Is Spacious

  Everything is smooth from the check-in process to check-out. The room is spacious and comfortable for 3 people. Though the interior is quite old but it is really comfort. Room service foods are delicious, staff is friendly but it only has outside parking spaces. The pool is clean and big enough to cater quite a number of visitors. Should you doesn't feel like driving, you can easily get a grab service to bring you from one place to another. Additional note : Shopping Mall is just next door and easily access from the hotel

  I spent 1 night here on business and I must say everything was excellent. The location of the hotel is quite close to my destination as well as some other business centers in the city. The room is fantastic & surprisingly comfortable. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others having a business or family trip.

  Best servive, plus food so delicious

  Best service from Grand Darul Makmur. Quick service and a large and comfortable room for me to work during the Covid19 pandemic. Strong internet access. I wish could come here again soon, wonderful.

  Grand Makmur Hotel

  Cosy and comfortable room. Suitable for the family and/or friends gathering. The Hotel was located at the center of the Kuantan town. Easy access to town. Parking for guest is free. Not far from the attraction places.
