  Great Hotel but a bit Expensive!

  We were told that we could not get a rebate because we booked through Booking.com. The receptionists were very welcoming and Julie, the reception manager, was very helpful especially when we missed our flight and had to come back to the hotel. Ijeoma at the reception was modest and well mannered, Gilbert and all the receptionists were really great.The rooms are good, nice air-conditioners, very clean and quiet. Chika at the restaurant was very kind and helpful during our stay, the complimentary breakfast was good, a bit spicy for my kids. The internet was very good and fast, the location is excellent; close to all major banks, Shoprite and many amenities. They have very good barbers, manicurists and pedicurists on site, for 24 hours, and for great price too! They have a trusted car hire within the hotel, he really knows all the joints in Abuja very well and we enjoyed him. Thanks to Mrs Nkechi for her help. We paid US$180 per night for two rooms, nice stay but it could have been cheaper if we did not book online. Good hotel Overall!

  Great Hotel at a decent price.

  We stayed here for three non consecutive nights and were impressed by the front desk and bell boy service. The rooms are clean with functioning air conditioning and hot water which does not sound like a lot to someone coming from the west but can be lacking sometimes in other countries. Theres a pool which we did not use, a nice semi outdoor patio that serves drinks but Im not sure whethers theres food service on the patio. The main restaurant serves mostly Nigerian dishes that tend to be on the spicy side but Im sure could be prepared mild on request. The food was wonderful but took not less than 1.5 hours from the time we ordered to the time it was served so if youre in a hurry to catch a flight be aware of that. We were very impressed by our experience and will definitely return again soon. P.S. We would like to give a special shout out to Nnamdi our delightful soft spoken waiter .

  Bad experience

  The rooms are fine but room service is the worst I have seen in a long time. Breakfast selection is absolutely ridiculous. I stayed there for 4nights and not even once did I see fruits in their breakfast buffet. The selection is more of a lunch buffet than breakfast. I have to constantly begged for room service to bring towels to the room which I never received. Bedsheets wasn't changed and all I received was excuses why this supon excuses. I was faded up with everything and decided to check in to another hotel. I had an awful experience.

  A nice hotel very close to Jabi Lake

  Firstly, the negative - their communication is not too good. I emailed from the UK a number of times to try to get a driver from the airport and to arrange an early check in but they never replied. I ended up asking my Abuja contact to do it for me and then things went smoothly. The positives and these far outweigh the negative. The beds are very comfortable and the rooms are quite clean as is the hotel. The staff is excellent and the food is good and not too expensive for a hotel. I paid 3000 Niara for Chicken, sauce and rice. I booked through Hotel.com and the booking went smoothly. This is not something you can say about all hotels in Nigeria. All in all, I would recommend this hotel to anyone who has a budget. It is a very good 4 star.

  Not so much value for money

  Nice place, you can also have access to a bar, spa, good Barbar ship and a lot around there. You can do cash back in the hotel. Breakfast is fully Nigerian. While I was there I had to call for my AC to be fixed though.
