  Disappointed

  We had high hopes for this hotel after travelling fairly roughly through Buton and Muna, but it barely met expectations. Our room was ok but not especially clean, the pool was also not very clean. Staff were ok, but not really friendly or helpful and breakfast was terrible.

  Good restaurant and service

  Stayed here for one night. Emailed the hotel before I arrived to arrange a free transfer from the airport, which is about 40 mins away. Unfortunately the bus was full for the return journey though - taxi was about 100k. Room was big and fine with a great view over the city. Chinese restaurant on the ground floor was really good and the breakfast was lavish. It you don't want to pay astronomical beer prices, there is a liqour shop 5 mins away - turn right out of the hotel, cross the river and you will reach a busy T junction. The liqour shop is opposite the coffee shop on the corner. If you turn left out of the hotel and cross the road you will find a raised walkway through the mangroves which makes for a pleasant stroll. The pool looked like it had seen better days, but the staff were attentive and friendly.

  What a bad morning time..

  i stayed in this hotel 3 nights. Every morning I always get an unpleasant breakfast experience. Delivery for breakfast is always late, at first I was able to understand the delay of only a few minutes. Third day in the morning, almost one hour delay. Due to this delay, my stomach ulcers recurred. I had a request at 7 am to be delivered, the hotel staff answer they will try their best. At 8 am I called back, the answer they were in the corridor where my room was located.I checked in the corridor, there was no officer and his trolley to deliver food (meaning I was lied to). Finally, breakfast arrived at my room at 09.50 with the condition of my stomach was very sick. Truly this was an unpleasant experience during my stay in claro.

  Poor Service, The food was horrible

  The front security doesn't seem nice, it's like we're entering police headquarters and the breakfast was horrible,the nasi goreng yangcho was harsh. there's not much of choices of dishes, i stayed for a couple days and the food choice was "itu itu saja"

  Hotel for your conventions and wedding needs

  My 2nd visits to KENDARI recently and stayed at CLARO Hotel Kendari. Only 30-40 minutes from Haluoleo Airport to CLARO Hotel Kendari was pretty short after journey from Jakarta to Kendari via Makassar. First impression while I entered the hotel lobby feel the East Indonesia warmed with smile of Security and Front Desk, Front Desk service was giving quick registration process. I have a room in Back Side Building/Tower. The room was clean and pretty spacious that I needed due to business purpose with 4 nights stay. In term of Convention Facilities, they having a big Ballroom but the Air-Con was not cold enough for me since I had 2 days activity inside the Ballroom. For Foods and Beverages, impressed with SUNACHI Chinese Restaurants since they have an Chinese Chef who cooked and presented the dishes well with a TASTIEST one. You must try it! For Menus and taste F&B at Legend was so so and need to be upgraded.
