  So relaxing! New management!

  Perfect location with a pool facing the beach! Breezy with beautiful ocean views. Clean, well equipt rooms. New management has turned this place around! Super friendly and accommodating staff! We will be going back soon!

  A room that not even animals should be in

  I stood at this hotel for a week from July 27-August 4, 2019. I was given a room on the second floor and then I needed to stay an extra night. The owners told me that the only room available was on the first floor. The room had dirty, stained and wripped up carpets, dirty and stained sofa, roach traps and smelled up terrible. I documented all with photos. I couldnt breathe and the room was unsanitary to stay in . I left and returned at midnight. Had a terrible night cause I felt terrible staying in that filthy room. How can anyone rent a room like that under those conditions? That room cannot be inhabited not even by a stray animal. SHAME on the owners for renting such a deplorable, dirty and unsanitary room.

  Weekend getaway

  This place need a upgrade. The room are old looking and the room smell like dirty carpet. The bottom mattress cover had stain on it. The pictures that they show on the website doesn't look nothing like it. The pool need new lounge chairs and the pool need more maintenance. They is no hot tub and no heated pool.

  First time last time

  I read the earlier reviews which were not good, I met the owners which seemed very nice. They told me they bought it last year and I know it takes time to get everything the way you want it to be but if your motel needs a lot of work you should mention that when people book rooms and their is no lower rate for a motel that clearly needs work. The positives about the motel is: location ( right on beach ), owners like I said seem nice, there are 2 BBQ grills. Now the negative: We could get no WIFI connection the whole time ( traveling with special needs child who uses IPad ). Spoke several times with owners who just seemed to have no viable answer why, if you run a business people are not trying to hear excuses for everything. Our room was dirty ( cigarette stains on rug, huge crack in tile in bathroom). For the money we paid I know for sure there are a lot of other places better to stay.

  Nice location but rooms are horrible

  I really wanted to give this place a good review because the owner Kathy is so lovely but in good conscious I cannot. I trust the reviews when I am booking travel. Yes, the owner is a lovely, helpful women and the place did have a nice family vibe. HOWEVER, the rooms are so out-dated and dirty. Nothing like the pictures on their website. Our toilet had a rust stain ring that literally drove me crazy everytime I used the bathroom. The day before our departure the toilet plugged and overflowed. When Kathy's husband fixed the issue he scrubbed out the stain himself. I was so grateful but also dismayed to see how little effort was put into housekeeping. Our 2nd morning there I left a $40 tip for the housekeeper. Hoping to secure good service for our stay. I straightened up the room and made the beds myself everyday. All the housekeeper did was hand us towels and toilet paper. The one day I asked to have the room vacuumed it didn't happen. When we got off the beach that day I went to office and vacuumed the room myself. Everything had a damp musty smell. We could not cook in the kitchenette room we paid additional for as only 1 of the 2 burners worked. The paint was chipped, the cabinets were cracked. It reminded me of every beach hotel I stayed in with my parents in the 70's. Exactly same decor and style. Extremely outdated. Forget the free wi-fi. It is nonexistent. I asked about it several times, kept hearing that is was related to "the storm" and that the IT guy was unavailable. You could connect to wi-fi in the office but the second you were 2 doors down it was gone. The website is very misleading. There are not 2 pools and there is no hot tub. The'second' pool is the kiddie area which has bars to separate it from main section of the pool. The 'hot tub' is just an area with seating but the water temperature was the same as the main pool. Our 8 night stay was $2500 with all the taxes and fees added in. The cost of the room worked out to about $300 and change a night. There is no way on God's green earth that the room was worth that. Infact $150 a night would be pushing it. I felt very angry and disappointed when I saw the room. I take my adult son and my grand daughter on a beach vacation every summer. I don't mind paying extra for a nice room which was what I thought I was booking. There is no way I could sleep at night if I owned that dump and charged a penny more than $100 night in it's current condition. I suggest doing some research and ignoring the pictures on the website. I am certain you can find a FAR nicer place to stay in that price range. Again the location was great and the beach was very nice. However take your hard earned dollars elsewhere. I wish I had.
