  Check-in to improve, but otherwise a great place to stay

  We spent a week here with the family. The check-in was a very long procedure even if they gave out numbers for the line. Unfortunately it gives a very bad first impression. After surviving check-in, it was all smooth, the room is simple, but spacious, and well-furnished, however a bit noisy, if you leave the balcony door open (party in the night, arriving buses in the morning). Also the bathroom is comfortable. Sea and beach is beautiful and each room has a booked umbrella on the beach, so you do not have to play the 'umbrella hunting game' every morning. Food is okay, stuff is very nice and friendly. There is even a baby kitchen meaning you have special meals for babies there and stuff to cook a meal for your baby, even a steriliser for the baby bottles. All in all we had a very good time.

  A 3 star hotel in disguise

  I spent a week at this hotel in August. I picked it for the extremely convenient sea-side location and for the reputation of the Bluserena chain. The experience was slightly disappointing for many reasons: - Too many kids! Children are lovely, but it should be clearly specified on the hotel website that this is strictly a family-focused hotel - Terrible customer service at the reception, with no attempt to solve whatever comes their way. Plus super slow check in procedure - You pay an extra fee for EVERYTHING (beach beds, front row beach spots...) - A messy restaurant that resembles a college cantine - Very old rooms with no amenities (it was impossible to get a kettle) and war-time facilities (a deeper-than-larger tv with 20 channels) - The night shows quality is poor On the bright side, the following features made our stay pleasant after all: - The entertainment staff was kind and fun, especially the girls working at Punto Blu - The food was overall good, and the metre was very nice and helpful about my food allergies - The beach is 5 mins walk away from the bedrooms - Cleanliness is exceptionally good All in all I would consider this hotel average and the week I spent decent, although I would not come back to a Bluserena resort.

  Public holiday 2nd of june: in love with Puglia

  Torre canne is such a lovely place for a relaxing vacation and Gran serena hotel is its peak, a little diamond point. The hotel is amazing: excellent rooms, very clean,big and comfortable. Wide selection of facilities: i personally enjoyed the outside fitness area, the olympic pool and then the therapeutic spa. Another very efficient service is the bar and restaurant: great preparation and presentation of the products(food and beverages), local and wordwilde. During the for days of the stay, some events were focused on the local food, drinks and entertainments as well. Other days it's been offered also wide choice of italian and foreign cuisine: excellent and very high standards. The entire staff has been very professional, polite,kind and very attentive to every customer's needs: the staff in the shops (inside the hotel), at reception, tourist entertainers and managers as well. I would like to thank each and everyone in Gran Serena to make us feel special and to make our experience unforgettable

  Welcome to the "Kids Hotel and Stroller Land"

  The only activities for everybody are: wake up late, breakfast, beach, eat, swim in a crowdy spool, eat again (be the first otherwise you don't have desert any more!) in a noisy hall with closed doors outside and finally always same boring night music. No quiet place in the entire place and stupid "Smart card" system to pay your drinks. It was a terrible badly week: NEVER again. Hopefully found a nice 10km jogging trail to escape.

  One week of pure relax

  Highly comfortable hotel on the beautiful Adriatic coast of Salento. Everything was just perfect, from the bedroom, equipped with air conditioning and satellite tv, to the swimming pool (also Olympic), the gym (no treadmill but fine enough), and the restaurants, both inside and on the beach.
