  Good for a short stay

  Hotel rooms are clean, but some of them are very noisy. Service is very poor, extremely long and not really professional (in the restaurant like in the hotel itself). The hotel is just ok for a short stay.

  Good for Port Harcourt

  Stayed here for 2 nights whilst in transit offshore. Staff was very welcoming although checkout payment took some time so do plan ahead. The rooms were nice and it seems like a recently built hotel. Best shower I've had in Nigeria - clean water & good pressure. The wifi is good but avoid rooms 11 as wifi does not reach them. Food was good portion size, average quality overall. Pleasant stay, will return.

  Nice place

  The reception was warm,the Valentine's day decoration was impressive.....The room was neat and comfortable too. I think I need a revisit to really enjoy The full facilities....lol.and to also see the hotel without the Valentine's day effect, regardless it was a nice place to stay.

  My Short Visit to Nigeria

  I briefly stayed at this hotel during my short visit to Nigeria last year. First, it took more than two days for them to receive confirmation of my more than a month in advance prepaid lodging, because they didn't have a good credit rating with the financial institutions in the United States. I was asked to pay again for my stay and request a refund from my travel agency upon my return. Can you imagine how disturbing an experience that was for me? Furthermore, the room that I was finally lodged in had mold in the bathroom and when I requested to be moved to a different room, was informed by the staff that they had no other rooms available; a statement that, I later discovered, was untrue. I was very much afraid of catching a pulmonary condition due to the spreading mold covering parts of the bathroom walls. Thankfully, this didn't happen, as I did my best to stay away from the room as much as possible and only returned there to sleep. Finally, the included breakfast and overall service weren't bad, but do need some improvement. My rating of this facility as average is generous and I hope that they fix everything that I mentioned in this evaluation, especially, the issue relating with confirming a prepaid booking and the bathroom mold.

  Not bad for Port Harcourt. Terrible for any other city

  Considering where it is located, the hotel is ok. Bar is decent, and the reception area is nice. And that´s about it. Rooms aren't very clean - not dirty either, and food is poor, with a very limited menu that takes forever to be served. Breakfast made me cry, poor selection of foods and only instant coffee available. Security wise seems ok, with gate controls and guards all over the place. Internet works fine, which is a plus in PHC. Payment is always an issue (in Nigeria, not only at BW). I have never seen a credit card payment work with the first swipe. You have to at least give it 3 tries to make it work. Service is very nice, specially at the reception.
