  Disappointing

  Pros- very comfy bed Nice and clean Family unit was fairly spacious Quiet ish Cons- Kitchenette is not really a Kitchenette just a bar fridge and a microwave with crockery and cutlery. Only 3 bowls for 4 people. Fire pit right out side the unit ... right outside the door of where the kids were trying to and people sitting around talking until midnight Blinds in second bedroom were 25mm to short either end so let streams of light in ... not good when trying to get kids to bed. The thing that I was most Cross about Room wasnt serviced on our second day. Left at 7:30, got back at 5 to find the room hadnt been done and we had no clean dry towels. For $285 clean towels are a minimum requirement! Very disappointing and definitely not value for money.

  Great location

  We found this place after trying in vain to find a room on the harbor. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The Lady Franklin suit was lovely and the views Ive the town were a nice bonus!! Comfortable beds were a welcome surprise after 4days hiking!! The small kitchenette was suitable for our uses and the location was quite.

  Great find, excellent value!

  This lovely hotel is only a short stroll around the waterfront to the Gordon Ferries and pubs. Perched on the hill, the views over Strahan are beautiful and the rooms are exceptionally good value - clean, quiet and well appointed. There is a laundry (complimentary), and the staff are lovely and very helpful. The only thing missing was easily accessible WIFI, but at the price we paid (for a family of 4) it was very easily overlooked!

  Comfortable and great views

  We stayed in the loft and it was comfortable and there were great views from the balcony. The place was clean and had everything we needed. The bed was comfortable, the kitchen facilities were adequate and the bathroom was nice, the spa bath worked well.

  Western Wilderness Stay

  Stayed 3 nights in this great motel , lovely welcome package of brekkie ceral, chocolate and chips for free.Free wash machine and dryer plus if you don't have your room serviced everyday they took $15 of your room rate. View very nice and lovely walk to town along the water.
