  In the heart of downtown.

  This was our second stay at the Goodbread House. The inn is very clean and well maintained. We were surprised to have a golf cart provided to check out all of St. Mary's. It's a very short walk to the heart of downtown.

  Awesome Weekend Stay

  My 3 night stay at the Goodbread House, felt like I was at home . Mardja was the perfect hostess . No detail was too small . The feel and decor of the home takes you to days gone by . The B&B is very clean . The breakfasts were yummy and filling . Mardja bakes at night and the smell of freshly made bake goods wafts through the home , as you drift off to sleep . I will definitely be a return guest .

  "Prepare to be spoiled"

  Goodbread House is a treasure. It is quaint, charming, and beautifully appointed. Gracious, genteel hospitality awaits the moment you cross the threshhold. Mardja is the consummate hostess. She went overboard to make our visit outstanding. Our room was clean and well maintained. Breakfasts were homemade and delicious with fresh squeezed oj and great coffee. Pastry and fruit was set out all day. The location is very convenient and great restaurants, shops and the Cumberland Island Visitor Center are within a very short walking distance. I cannot recommend this B&B highly enough.

  Okeefenokee Swamp and Cumberland Island

  This was a perfect night stay between the swamp and the island. Mardja was so helpful and great with the kids who loved her breakfast five stars and nighttime cookies. Short walk to ferry in the morning for another great day.

  True Hospitality!

  We were Rhett and Scarlett for the weekend. Loved the room! Amazing how much thought has gone into the themed rooms. Mardja is an amazing hostess and her staff is fantastic as well. She knows the area well, things that may be of interest, and all the best restaurants around. Her breakfasts are fabulous and filling. We truly felt like we were staying the weekend with a friend. We definitely plan to return!
