  Money missing from the safe!

  The hotel has this funny safe system where the staff can actually open ur in-room safe anytime they please without you even noticing. Your pin doesn't get reset or anything so if you don't keep an evidence on how much money you have in it you don't even realise that they've done it. We had $200 missing and when we questioned them and asked to see the videos on the CCTV cameras we were told that they are not operating 24 hours a day. Communion was a nightmare until this new receptionist lady started her shift a few days after we checked in. Her English was ok but the rest of the time we had to use Google translate or simply give up. The first night we arrived we've noticed that the toilet bowl had hair in it and looked like someone had used it. It was 4pm when we asked them to come and clean it but we were told we needed to wait until the next day. Half of the light globes were missing and the TV never worked. We were told that the TV will be fixed in the morning too but that never happened. We had to buy towels because theirs looked absolutely disgusting. With yellow and black stains all over them. Room service left us without toilet paper for a couple of days. The fridge in the room sounded like a construction digger. We had to unplug it overnight so we can rest. Mold in the bathroom. A lizard to keep us company the whole time. For breakfast the most we could get was a cold fried egg with salted fish cherry tomatoes and pickled cabbage. Last night our next door neighbour coughed and vomited the whole night. We heard it all. Only a couple of their staff were quite nice people. They don't deserve to work there. They are too good for this hotel's standards. I wouldn't even give this hotel half a star. Golf Hotel District 7? NEVER AGAIN!!!!!

  A peaceful stay

  It is very economical, cleanliness is maintained, good breakfast indeed. Little bit away from city center yet there are two malls nearby. HCMC has bag and camera snatchers in the city, (I heard even hand phones are also snatched) so be CAREFUL ! Since currency system is complicated some dealers try to cheat you. (I have faced) When you ask currency conversion may be into $s they frequently show incorrectly. Calculate your balance carefully in case transaction is done. This happens even at duty free shops in the airport. You can challenge or argive so that they give you correct balance. This is mostly in HCMC, not outskirts.

  Good Stay

  The hotel is located in "Korea Town" in Phu My Hung District 7. It's far from the airport and from the main center of District 1. The taxi we were in did not know where the hotel was but eventually found it. If you are looking to explore Vietnamese cuisine or check out the markets or even local culture, this is not the place to be. The hotel has breakfast included with reasonable dishes including Korean dishes and egg made to order. Hot water and cold water is available in the dining room. Hot water maker is also in the rooms. Rooms are clean and cleaned every single day. Hotel staff are very friendly, always helpful and smiles all the time. If you like malls, there are two big malls just walking distance from the hotel, Vivo and Crescent Malls. Both malls are very modern. Wifi in the hotel was fast and reliable. The biggest con to the hotel is the nightly Karaoke that goes until about 11pm and some days, mid afternoons. It was loud and noisy.

  Big room in a quiet part of town.

  We were traveling with 3 small children, we stayed in a big room with 2 big beds. There was a sitting area and a big bathroom with bath tub. We checked out breakfast but it didn't look very good, we didn't go to breakfast while we stayed there. The staff is very friendly. The hotel is in a quiet part of town, we loved it!

  Most amazing staff Ive ever had experience with.

  The staff went above and beyond to take care of all my needs and wishes. Unbelievable loyalty to the customer. I didnt feel like a customer, I felt at home. I will never stay anywhere else but Golf hotel if and when I come back to Saigon. The owner is very involved with everything thats going on in his hotel and makes sure no one leaves unsatisfied. A+++++
