  Little paradise

  The location and surroundings of these wonderful chalets is the highlight of the property. To see rabbits frolicking in the large gardens that this property was situated in made us fall in love with the place. The chalets are very well furnished with all rooms having their own heating. The view of the lake and mountains from the first floor of our two storey chalet was absolutely awesome!!! Shona's energy is so inspiring...rain or shine one can always see Shona busy with tending to the garden or the rooms or driving to town to do errands. The property is a 5 to 7 minute drive to town so if you have a car would highly recommend staying here.

  Peaceful

  Lovely modern house and chalets just across the road from Wanaka golf course. Beautifully built with all mod cons and full access to lounge, kitchen outside areas which were all amazing Continental breakfast was good and free use of the laundry facilities which was a great help. Shona the owner does Trojan work around the place and still has a smile and story for you. Our room was lovely and in the main house where it looks like there are four similar rooms. There are then two other smaller brick houses but Im not sure how many rooms were in them. We only stayed one night but just chilled in the sun for the day which was exactly what we needed.

  The Best

  What a place, what a host. What a vision. Very lovely, comfortable, live able, and in a great central location. If you found it, trust it. A great restaurant and winery a few steps away....WOW...#1 on trip advisor for Wanaka, very special.

  Road trip with UK visitors

  lovely spot to stay very peaceful and great views of the lake and night sky from loft bedroom. Good to have en suites with bathrooms. However downstairs bathroom had a large spa bath with shower over , very difficult to get in to have a shower, a hand rail would be good. Fully equipped and very clean, carpets had just been cleaned.

  Exceptional stay

  I wish there was an exceptional level on TripAdvisor as this would meet that level. The chalets are perfectly positioned just outside of town but within walking distance if you wanted. They are placed in a beautiful countryside setting.The buildings look lovely with the stone finish and a lot of windows offer great light indoors. The lounge/dining area is spacious, the European style kitchen offers a front loading washing machine. There are plenty of plates, bowls, cutlery etc. The bathroom is large with a spacious shower and amazing water pressure. The bedroom was a loft style room, with a king size bed that was extremely comfortable. The chalets are serviced daily and tea/coffee sachets are replenished. Along with new towels in the bathroom. The checking in was easy, the checkout even easier! We will definitely return here the next time we are in Wanaka and probably stay for longer.
