  The perfect B&B.

  Right on the river, across from University. Owners have the highest standards. And their personal story is great--this is an old mansion they restored. The river runs through it and your room right on the edge of it. Great beds, everything done w/ such taste.

  Perfect for anniversary stay

  We adored this bed and breakfast ! The staff was so friendly and professional, the room was immaculate, and the homemade breakfast was delicious! We cant wait to come back again the next time were in Missoula.

  Location, Service, Homey atmosphere in the best possible way.

  Comfortable clean room in a stately home, right on the river. Breakfast affords a million-dollar view of the Clark's Fork and the footbridge across which leads to the University. Professional friendly staff. I can't say enough good about this place. We stayed five nights, so I really feel I got a good sense of the place.

  Home Sweet Home - AMAZING service

  The hotel is very cute homey and clean. The quality of business was there however Id like to focus my review on the customer service I received. My first impression was based on a call I received on my way to the Inn by the gentleman working to make sure that I was finding my way okay. I thought that was very nice! On arrival I was greeted at the door. My husband booked the cheapest room but I was moved to a nicer room with a view of the river because it was open and the man working thought why waste the view I hadnt even seen my room yet and felt so taken care of. The room by the way was great! I was given helpful directions for my evening plans and advised accurately to take the nicer half of the walking path. Thanks for that! Breakfast the next morning was very open ended - no pressure to eat with everyone, he fixed me a home cooked plate and let me take it up to my room with me which I SUPER appreciated in my hungover antisocial state. Checkout was leisurely given that no one was expected to check into my room that evening. I cant give this place a great enough review. 5000/10 - WILL definitely be staying again.

  Not B&B but AirBNB-soon to be closed

  The only fault I can find with Goldsmiths is that they were only available for four nights when I came to Missoula! The bed is comfy, the pillows fine, the water hot and the towels fluffy. Our rooms were spotlessly clean. The kitchen was a nice touch for making a pot of coffee each morning and storing dinner leftovers for the next days lunch. But the high point is the location. Being right on the river means you can let the babbling Clark Fork lull you to sleep. You can set on your private deck and watch fly fishermen casting their flies as other folks float down the river. Missoula has an excellent trail system and youre right on it. We enjoyed several walks along the river. Downtown and the excellent Pearl Café are but a few blocks away. Sadly, they tell me theyre converting the house into individual apartments and it will no longer be available for short-term rental.
