  Céntrico y barato

  Aspectos positivos: - Relación calidad-precio muy buena - Al lado de una estación de tranvía a 10' del centro. - Si no hay sitio en el parking del hotel (gratis), hay espacio en las calles de atrás del hotel. - Desayuno incluido (correcto) Aspectos negativos: - Ruidoso (en especial la calle de delante) - Baja potencia del wifi. La conexión en las habitaciones no era buena. - No canales internacionales en la televisión

  Estuvimos muy bien

  No está céntrico, pero sí a dos pasos de las líneas de tranvía y autobuses que comunican con el centro. Está todo muy limpio y la habitación es cómoda. El desayuno es correcto. Sólo le pongo dos pegas: no hay ascensor y el horario de recepción es muy limitado, cierra a las 18 y hay que abandonarlo antes de las 10. Pero tengo también que decir que nosotros avisamos de que íbamos a llegar tarde por los atascos que había y nos esperaron dos horas. El personal es muy amable y hay una empleada que habla español. Recomendable.

  No me gusto

  No tienen ascensor, tuve que subir con 3 valijas por escaleras, el estacionamiento era para 4 autos (que ya estaba ocupado) asi que tuve que buscar lugar en la calle. Que esta lleno de restricciones de horario y de lugar. El desayuno bien, la habitacion chiquita pero safaba. No habia aire acondicionado pero me dieron un ventilador.

  Friendly stuff, but noisy room

  The room provided a very comfortable queen size bed but a small bathroom. The nearby road as well guests outside the room were noisy, obviously the walls/windows are very noise sensitive. There is no elevator available you have to carry your suitcase to the upper floors by using stairs. On the other hand the stuff was very friendly. The hotel was booked by several guests attending a concert at the nearby summer festival, which is a 2-minute walk away - a perfect location.

  Modern hotel quite far from city centreg

  Hotel Golden Falke is located a bit outside of the city centre of Augsburg, which makes it very affordable. The neighborhood does have some everyday shops and kebab houses, but for proper restaurants and the main sights to see you'll have to walk around 30 minutes to the city centre. The area near the hotel looks a bit rough and I wouldn't have been to excited if I'd visited with just a girl friend. But I do think it is safe enough. You can park for free near the hotel. They have a tiny designated parking lot and if that is full you can park in the streets behind the hotel. Upon arrival we were welcomed by a kind lady, who checked us in. From the inside the hotel looks like it has just been renovated and updated. Our room was very modern and contained everything one might need in a hotel; bed, nightstands, little seating area, a desk, a wardrobe and a TV. The bathroom was also very well maintained and clean. Breakfast was great. Because of Covid everything was laid on the table in advance, instead of the usual buffet style. There was lots to choose from. Personally I thought the hotel was quite nice but because of the distance to the centre and because of the neighborhood, I will probably stay somewhere else next time I'm in Augsburg. For me the fact that the hotel was very affordable didn't way up to the things mentioned above.
