  Outdated, Clean-ish, Poor Service, Over priced

  2 night stay for 2 adults, 2 kids. Weve stayed in a lot of country motels in our travels in Aust and this is by far the worst. the motel needs an entire reno - the reception, restaurant, and rooms are something out of a 70s saloon, the rooms are cleanish but dont look on the carpets or grout to closely. The air con we couldnt get the remote working which was due to flat batteries. Hot water ran out after 2-3mins and we had 4 people to wash. After arriving late each night/10pm from a day of MTB riding in Bright for a hot shower and bed, the rooms were serviced and left with NO TOWELS and a air con remote that didnt work! Oh and if you like to read youll love all in rooms signs of what to do and not to do! For $200 a night (!) go elsewhere, unless its the only place available. To the owners, you have a lot of work to do to the basics of your motel!

  this resort is just a 1 minute walk to Kings Beach. Looks unassuming but is clean, up to date and a quiet place. the staff are very helpful and knowledgeable of the surroundings and places of interest. I really enjoyed the quiet atmosphere.

  Great location

  Nicely renovated apartments, fabulous location close to beach and beachside pool, cafes, restaurants and tavern. Kings Beach is great for kids with many parks nearby. The resort has a nice pool and games room. The apartment is well fitted with everything you need.

  Great position and comfortable apartment.

  Golden Leaf satisfied all of our requirements. Comfortable, clean and great position. Only negative was the tiny bathroom in an apartment that can accommodate up to 8 people. However, we coped and it didn't spoil our holiday.

  A good break for a week in Central part of the Sunshine Coast

  Golden Leaf Apartments located a short stroll from Kings Beach, is the ideals a home base for visiting other local sands and exploring the Sunshine Coast. Kings Beach is ideal for swimming, surfing and relaxing on the beach. Kings Beach has lifeguards year round 7 days a week. Across from the apartments there is Kings Beach Park and also a sound shell that has free concerts through out the year. We had a one bedroom apartment at Golden Leaf with three adults sharing a bedroom and pullout sofa double bed, with full kitchen facilities. Very comfortable, clean and ideally situated with a wonderful host Kay who was prepared to help at any time she was in the office.
