  5 stars hotel but breakfast buffet is...

  Room is good, location is great near by shopping complex, Suning. But breakfast buffet at Cove Restaurant has no fork, knife, or spoon for eating. When I asked the waitress, she told me there are only chopsticks and ceramic spoon (for eating congee or soup). I am sure there is but they do not want to provide to guess. Although I told her that I need fork and knife for salad, she advised me to use chopsticks and repeated me to accept to use it. Also coffee, they provide plastic spoon for coffee cup. So it is not 5 stars for me. I wish my review will be reached management to consider it. Otherwise I will introduce 5 stars under Chinese Standard to public.

  Not a tourist hotel

  Hotel is in business district...nearest Sunning Mall is about 15 mins walk away where u can shop n eat.. Taxi not available easily so end up I had room service very often. Hotel cafe offers good spread of international n local food..taste is acceptable. Chinese restaurant dim sum is also good Room is spacious n clean except for the carpet on the wear out stage.

  Present hotel to stay

  I stayed in a standard room for a 2 days visit. The room was clean, so as the bath room. Soft towel smelled fresh. Comfortable bedding. For the price I paid for, can't ask for more. Only little complain is that electronic key didn't open room door, I had to carry all luggage to the front desk to re-key again. Perhaps I was just unlucky.

  Very Very comfortable!!

  Nice Hotel and quite grand. Rooms were large and immaculate. Excellent views over city WiFi is faultless. They only have CNN and CGTN English Networks. Good outdoor Pool ad Gym. Lots of Breakfast options and a few onsite boutique shops Hotel is worthy of its 4/5 star rating at a competitive price. Dissappointing there was no cold beer in bar or restaurant. Typical chinese with no wine either. Suggest need to upgrade their bar etc to attract westerners to stay in hotel.

  Best hotel in Shantou

  Hotel is centrally located . It is about half an hour from high speed train station with easy transportation to all local attractions. Major shopping centres are just around the corner within 1 km range. The hotel itself is clean and the staff are helpful to show us the directions and assisted us in booking car transportation for sightseeing.
