  Stunning views, great vacation!

  Perfect family vacation spot; incredible views from 4 beautifully decorated villas, friendly, flexible staff that cater to your every need and make it look effortless. Wake up to your morning coffee and that peaceful feeling that somebody else is taking care of you. Talented chefs, food was done to our specifications and showcased a wide range of cuisines.   The Wedding Vacation

  My friend was getting married and decided to keep it in Jamaica to my surprise he booked the whole villas for family and friends. This place is fabulous, the ocean view Is fantastic, the villas have a warm, welcoming, sophisticated look to it. They have these beds on the outside when you lay down, you will definitely fall asleep. The place is windy not cold and the pool water is warm. What I like is the fact that they supply water shoes for those who wish to go into the ocean because it is full of rocks. The water is rough if you trying to kayak but really nice to bathe and there is a life guard on duty which I find is really great because you feel safe. The food is fantastic, real Jamaican food. That chef can cook. These maids are quick when cleaning your room and the pack everything away, clothes, shoes everything. Thanks to Nikki the manager she made this experience wonderful and enjoyable. I can't stop think about this place. I will definitely go back. They just need to do something about getting there. That drive is too long especially coming from Kingston airport but when you reach the villa all tiredness gone straight out the window.

  My week in Paradise

  I was having a stressful week at work my friends invited me to Golden Cove. It was more than I could imagine. Let me start with what happen on arrival. We were greeted with a glass of coconut water. This alerted me that the service they had was one to please the guest. We were then shown to our villas. The manager was there to greet us and she was amazing and very hands on. She ensured we were in good hands and gave us tour of the property. The grounds was free of debris and one could feel and smell the fresh air. And was ideal for the perfect wedding. The pool area was what I fell in love with. The Cabana and the whole area just spell tanning and relaxation. The beach area had the perfect for partying as on look over the expanse of the caribbean sea. My most exciting part of my five days stay was the meal. Hats off to the chef who only wants to know what your palette desired he just went out and did his awesomeness thanks chef for the scrumptious meals. The staff what can I say. More than keep up the great work of being more than just doing your job but has a sense of enjoying it. Hats off to Shaneka for your smile and patience. You brighten the already beautiful property. I thoroughly enjoyed myself and would recommend those who wish to just get away to visit this property in Jamaica.

  A "Golden" Family reunion

  Had the opportunity to stay for a week at this villa with 15 relatives during June 2016. I found the view to be truly paradise waiting. The staff from the property manager (Nicky) to Henry who resides on property to take care of the Macaws. SK and Apache were attentive and responsible with providing us with all our food service needs. Monique kept my room clean, while Val the pool lifeguard taught my 2 cousins to swim. The pool was the best part with the water a nice temperature at all times and the lights at night made the ambience even more pleasurable. Keep up the good work.

  Roaches and feces

  December 19 We arrived late to our villa at golden cove excited about our stay in Jamaica. Our first impression was nothing like the photos and descriptions had portrayed. Roaches were in the master bedroom and one of the upstairs bedrooms. Furniture was in disrepair. Rodent feces were on the master bed as well as the night stand and floor. The master bedroom toilet was broken. Didnt realize until after we used it having traveled all day long. We were exhausted to say the least however there was no way we were sleeping in that bed! It was 1 am we packed the car and after not finding a vacant hotel for the night slept in our car until the next day when we were able to secure lodging for the remainder of our stay. Luckily we were able to find a condo on the beach that was clean and not infested with rodents and roaches. This was supposed to be one of Marriotts elite homes only available for chairman level owners and it definitely didnt meet Marriott standards. I have stayed at Fairfields that were cleaner and in better condition. Dont be fooled by the pictures on the web about this place. Here are some More accurate pictures of what we found. Unfortunately we had used Marriott points for the stay 7500 and ended up having to pay cash to find a new place last minute. That 7500 roughly cost us around 9,000. And ended up paying another $7000. We have stayed in Aruba, several Hawaii islands as well as the Virgin Islands and so we were excited to explore a new island we hadnt been to. There wont be a next time.
