  Calm, clean and welcoming

  Spent just one night and enjoyed its geographical setting overlooking the Gulf of Thailand. For this reason, best to have a bungalow. Well kept up and maintained, and very clean. Pleasant swimming pool with chaises longues (but no mattresses). Hospitable staff. Restaurant food (Thai) just fine - and appropriately priced. Standard breakfast, which we had to pay for because we booked through Agoda. Told that if we he had booked Booking.com, breakfast is included! Otherwise, good value for money, but not for long stay if you are looking for a certan level of comfort. Very good open wifi everywhere.

  Wish the weather was better.

  Cycling along the coast, I was lucky to find this resort before the skies opened. The Agoda price was far cheaper than the walk in price. I suspect I am the only guest this evening. Nice rooms maybe overpriced off season.

  Perfect for retired folks but overpriced for what they have to offer.

  This resort is about 40 kilometers away from the civilization ( shops, restaurants, etc) So if you don't have a car nor a motorcycle, it will be a very boring stay. What they are charging you ( at 1500 baht a night) is only for the sea view. This facility is big and they have a lot of undeveloped parts of it available, yet, for recreation purpose, there is only a swimming pool available and if you are traveling during Thai holidays, it will be jam packed! It may be ideal for retired folks or people just looking to do nothing and for pure relaxation. From the moment you wake up, after having breakfast, there isn't a whole lot to do except staring at the sea and may be enjoy reading books, but it may get boring on the second or third day. There is really no beach in its conventional definition unless you call the distance from the giant rocks on the shore to the sea itself ( about 100 centimeter) a beach. With all the lands available to them, they could have created more activities for the guests, i.e, Tennis court, Gym, may be even a pool table, etc. Breakfast which is usually included in your rate is OK and for breakfast and lunch, you are pretty much stuck there if you don't have any means of transportation. They don't arrange sightseeing tours for the guests, however, for the most part, they are quite friendly. They do a terrible job in keeping Gazebos around the resort clean. Their bed sheets are a bit old, however, if you complain, they will change it for you immediately. Their drink stocks are appareling as well; they were out of coke for couple of days that we were there. For that price and the lack of recreational activities ( even for the retired folks) I won't be going back there. Their wifi was flimsy too.

  Good resort

  It is nice resort beside Trat beach, silence-private-comfort area for family. Look for family trip will be delight at all. It close to some historical flag place where treat you all in love mode for Trat.

  A hidden gem in the middle of nowhere!

  Came here by bicycle in the end of April (dry/off season) and i seemed to be the only guest around in the whole place! The bungalow i got was very nice. Clean and with all amenities. Wi-Fi on the grounds was not very good. The beach is situated a few stairs down as the name might suggest. It is a rocky beach just as you come down the stairs but not more than a few minutes walk gets you to a small but gorgeous white beach. Fishing is supposedly quite good and the staff will gladly lend you some stuff to try your luck. I tried the chefs skills by ordering a Tom Yum Koong for dinner and It was just great. No complaints at all. Just the right amount of everything. Galangal, lemongrass, mushrooms spicy chili and shrimp. 8 out of 10 for the food. The staff does not speak any English at all. But the place really IS a hidden gem in the middle of nowhere. Right in the middle between Trat and the Cambodian border. Nature in this part of Thailand is really gorgeous. And I wish I had had more time and money to have stayed a few more days just relaxing and fishing off the beach. Recommended!
