  Pleasant stay on the Sunshine Coast

  Stayed here after a day at the Australia Zoo. Quiet motel off the main road. Good size, clean room with comfortable beds. Motel has free WiFi, TV, fridge, microwave, coffee and tea. Large bathroom with hot water. There is a pool, with grills, and free on site parking. Restaurants and grocery stores within walking distance. Proprietors are onsite and very hospitable. Great value; highly recommended.

  Not what you expect

  Everything about this place is very small parking room Is small with cranes in furnishings lacks in areas no iron no face washer no biscuits to go with coffee mould & smells under bathroom sink. very noisy you can here people sitting outside talking doors slamming would stay again definitely not 4 star 2.5 at best

  great location

  We had a quick trip ta Queensland and this place was Ideal for our needs we had a late flight so a late check in was needed but that was no problem. The room was large and every clean the WFI was good.

  Handy to the Beach, Short Stroll to Town.

  Sitting on the beach mid-arvo and thought to do something about accommodation for the night. Quick search in the area revealed this domicile only a short drive away, so 4 minutes later and here we are. Only a 2 minute drive from the Esplanade to meet up with family later, or a 10 minute walk to town...and 2 minutes walk to the main drag and supermarket, pub etc where we have a convivial refreshment anon. Myself and the other half were travelling with a friend so the double plus single bed arrangement worked well, and although small was clean with a good shower, comfortable bed, covered parking and quiet enough for a residential location. Lady on the front desk was quite pleasant too - actually a bit better than average.

  Excellent motel stay

  I stayed at the Golden Beach motor inn with my elderly father while visiting the area. I was met at reception by the very friendly hostess Desleigh who explained details of the accommodations and the area and was very helpful. Our room was spotlessly clean. It was upstairs and had a double bed and a single bed. There was a fridge, tea and coffee provisions and a tv. The bathroom was modern and equipped with soap and shampoo. The room was air conditioned. There is a swimming pool and undercover parking. Then motel was fully booked the night we stayed, but it was quiet and we slept really well. Its a short walk to downtown Caloundra, where there are lots of restaurants. There is an Aldi and a pub a very short distance away, and a Woolworths and bottle shop slightly further (but still walking distance). This is a basic motel, not a 5 star resort, but if you set you expectations accordingly we found it a great place to stay. I recommend it and really enjoyed staying there.
