  boutique hotel in an excellent location

  Taking advantage of its boutique-like size, the hotel provides quiet and private atomosphere with elegant and distinctive ambience. Its location is in the middle of center Moscow; walking distance to most of the major sightseeing locations. The best part of the hotel is their staffs and the quality of service. All of their staffs are always there to help you with the best of their ability; very friendly while being professional. I felt that the whole teams are communicating well and working together, for instance, they noticed my birthday and surprised me with a cake with a birthday card when I was finishing my lunch at their restaurant. I had great time staying with them. Highly recommended. I will not hesitate to go back when I visit Moscow.

  Will be back

  This is great hotel. I've been in the past a few times when it was Golden Apple. I liked it then, I loved it now as The Chechoff Hilton Honos. The renovation is very nice. The bed is very comfortable, the service was excellent and the staff very friendly.

  Absolute top!

  I stayed at Chekhoff Curio for 1 night. I received a nice upgrade to a corner room. Without asking, I got offer a late check out till 6 pm the following day. Very nice. Room: The room was very nice and new. Nice decoration and atmosphere. It has a special kind of luxury to it. The bed was great and even the room was not that big, it just worked out fine. The bathroom was also very clean and nice. The shower was very spacious. Everything worked as it should work. Hotel grounds: On the ground floor when you come in, there is a nice small bar, a small reception and behind the reception is the restaurant. There is a gym and a meeting room as well. Personnel: One of the highlights of the hotel. The personnel at the reception is extremely welcoming. I have stayed in many hotels, but the service, attentiveness, and politeness is really top. My compliments. The man who checked me in (Evgeny?) was very welcoming and the lady who checked me out was very kind and professional (Veronika).  Location. The location is very good. For a tourist, the main sights are very near. Metro stops are nearby. The Red Square is one metro stop or half an hour walk away. There is a delicious Georgian restaurant just around the block, turn 2 times left when you get out of the hotel. Breakfast: The breakfast room has a peaceful and relaxed ambiance. The food is good and everything is kept clean. I did not find the selection that large or the choice outstanding, but for sure you can fill your stomach.  Overall: I was very pleased with the hotel. The combination of a great room, good location, and super personnel make it a great place to stay.

  Personal touch in customer service

  Were I a fan of boutique hotels (I personally prefer larger full-service properties), I would likely give the Chekhoff Hotel the highest rating: thus, my Very Good designation should be understood in this context. So much of my extremely positive experience at this property is due to the excellent customer care that I experienced. One front desk associate (taking on concierge responsibilities) thoroughly impressed me by her willingness to use what I think was her personal ride share app to help me locate a taxi. She then monitored the routing, arrival and walked me to the car to make sure I identified the correct license plate. Throughout my stay, this associate greeted me by name every time she saw me and seemed genuinely interested in ensuring that my stay was going well (recommending fine dining venues at one point). She, in my opinion is the embodiment of excellence in customer care and is the reason that I am reassessing my tendency to avoid boutique hotels. As for the property more generally, the breakfast choice is both extensive and very high quality. The lobby/cafe/bar area also has a nice trendy vibe. The only issue that could mention is that at least one of the chair cushions in the cafe had a bit of a smell of spilled (now dried) alcohol, which I suspect management has addressed with a thorough cleaning. Anyway, if you like smaller boutique hotels, youll adore the Chekhoff Hotel Moscow Curio Collection by Hilton.
