  Clean & accomodating

  We were @ this motel in mid May on way to Sydney to catch a flight back to US after being stranded in Victoria, AU for 6 extra weeks due to the corno virsus The people were very nice, could not do enough during stay, meals to room, both dinner & breakfast ( very good & plenty of food), & easy check in & exit. The price was reasonable. You had to pay for dinner, but could get breakfast included with rate.

  Weekend away

  Stayed here June long weekend,good 3 days large room and bathroom nice and clean and quiet not far from shopping centre and takeaway food.they have free breakfast plus had scrambled eggs that tasted really good would stay again.

  Disappointed. Again.

  Booked direct via their website. Arrived to discover I'd been given a room that was basically the opposite of what I had specifically requested, which was...annoying, to say the least. This was swiftly corrected but shouldn't have happened in the first place. This place used to go out of their way to provide what customers asked for; shame it doesn't seem to happen any more. Was always our go-to place in Queanbeyan but after the last couple of visits we won't be staying here again.

  2nd stay

  I stayed a few months ago in a modern room and enjoyed my stay. This time the room was awfully decorated and strong smell of smoke. Its not worth 180 a night and Ive decided Ill be staying in Canberra on business trips in future

  Wouldnt return

  Firstly after being there for 24 hours a member of staff comes and interrogated me on where we had come from yet on booking we had to provide our address and we even called to confirm we could stay before arriving. We had breakfast included in our stay which I wasnt aware of until I asked how to pay for it to which he said it was included until I went to take it to our room I was told if I wanted to take it to my room I would need to pay for it. Then was told not to order room service over the weekend as only 2 staff were on. I had a do not disturb sign on the door so the housekeeping staff just left fresh towels on the floor pretty sure do not disturb means I dont need anything. The pipes for the next rooms bathroom squeal the whole time anyone used water, so that was great at 6am. Housekeeping entering the room while the do not disturb sign was on the door while my partner was naked after a shower. We checked out early in the morning because we had a long drive ahead while coming out of a non service area received a rude email saying we hadnt paid and they had contacted the police. We had 2 rooms booked the other room payment was deducted upon check in so we assumed the other room would be the same and then we get threatened because they forgot to take a payment on arrival and obviously didnt notice till after check out.
