  Friendly and comfortable

  We picked this hotel because (1) it was near the beach, and (2) it is dog-friendly. We were definately not disappointed. The hotel is very easy to find, and within a few minutes easy walk to the beach. We had booked, and our room was ready on arrival. To be honest, it was not a large room (especially with our retriever!), but it was very comfortable, clean, and had a nice view. The double bed was full size, and the room had ensuite shower/toilet. Fittings included a wardrobe (with plenty of hangers), a writing desk, table and two small armchairs. The TV was fitted to the wall, and although there was a large choice of more than 30 TV channels and a number of radio channels, there were no channels in English. It must be the first CNN-free hotel I have ever stayed in! We really enjoyed our breakfasts, and ate dinner at the hotel twice during our 4-night stay. The food was delicious, and the breakfasts catered for a wide range of tastes. The indoor swimming pool is on the small size, but was adequate, the sauna and steam room were great, and the massage which my wife and I both enjoyed was very well done. The hotel provides various fitness programmes, guided walks and nordic-walking, and a choice of dietry regimes (including a liquids-only "fasting diet" for the very brave) All in all - a great place to stay, providing you brush up your German a bit beforehand!

  Close to the beach and a short drive to the Cruise Center

  I arrived very late by car from Berlin and there was staff available to open the doors and check me in. I was on a very short stay (essentially a place to nap) before going to the Warnemunde Cruise Center to pick up family stopping on a Baltic Sea adventure. THe room is adequate and parking was ample. On the drive to the cruise center, there were services and food before making the drive down to Berlin. The property is well kept and the room had bottled water and plenty of outlets to charge electronics. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone headed to this area.
