  My kind of hotel

  This family run business is a place all potential hoteliers should visit for training. You are greeted by two lovely dogs, the welcome is informal and friendly. The hotel is in a quiet location. The rooms clean and well presented. Free wifi included anything else needed is provided with little fuss. Yes the place is doing some work, I only knew this because I saw it they were thoughtful of the times they worked. My room overlooked the courtyard but I never heard a vehicle any time. The breakfast is fit for a king, a table full of food juice and coffee for every guest. I slept and ate well at a price most hotels would charge double for. I checked out at 10am and awaited my colleague who had gone to the office. I was going to sit in the yard area but they made me feel welcome and provided coffee, biscuits and company whilst I waited. All part of their service. Best hotel in Germany if not Europe. I hope Marriot group read this and realise what they are doing wrong.

  Accomodation udring a long drive through Europe

  It was like entring an oases along the way of out drive from Italy to Denmark. The service was excellent, all details in ordre in the rooms. Fine and cozy hotel and very pleasent staff. The surroundings were beutiful with wtaer-ponds and flowers. The breakfast was perfekt.

  Nice hotel but not if you have children and dogs!

  The hotel in itself was nice, modern rooms, beautiful breakfast restaurant and a little garden. But it stops there. I had a terrible experience. Although I personally called the hotel twice making sure that they accepted dogs and had a family room for me and my two children and the dogs, upon arrival, after driving 1000 km, I found out that we had two small rooms and my oldest son had to sleep by himself. I called the hotel again (the reception closed at 20.00) and she told me that they would give me a little discount. I also told her that we were leaving early and she said that the breakfast started at 7.00 the following day. I got up at 6.15 (after almost no sleep due to the extreme heat in the room) prepared my bags and took the dogs for a walk. To my surprise when I come back there is a dog at the entrance without a lease belonging to the hotel. The dogs started to bark and I could not get into the entrance again. The lady preparing the breakfast comes out screaming at me in German telling me that I was not allowed to be there and that I should go away and then she just left. I had to search for her by entering the restaurant and beg her to take her dog so that I could get into the hotel since I was a guest. She screams again telling me to get the dogs out of there and goes to remove her dog. I try to wake my son in the separate room but he cannot hear me. After 20 minutes of trying to wake him up by knocking on the door and calling his room number, I go to the reception that is of course closed...The lady gives me a key after telling me that I should not disturb the other guests and that she had work to do. Finally we all get ready for breakfast, only to find out that we were not allowed to keep the dogs in the garden or inside the hotel complex and that breakfast and reception opens at 8.00!!! We had to sit in our rooms for 40 minutes and then eat outside with a light rain and 16 degrees. When I go to the reception it is the same woman!!! She charges me full price for the rooms, the dogs and breakfasts. The hotel should be ashamed of how they treat their guests! My advice, never use this hotel if you are a family or have dogs! She made my morning hell and I was 2 horse late. There are plenty of nice and friendly hotels in Germany, but apparently not this one!
