  Good hotel for those who are 50+

  We spent there our mini-holiday with our 1.9 year twins, therefore all impressions are in a light of family holiday with small kids. I guess I would like hotel more if I come there in 20 years with my husbant, but without kids. + The location is very sharming, air, view from room, food are very testy, big choice of food, changing every day, perfect koffe, and friendly stuff. They have a big playing hall for kids, with various entertainment: trampolinas, constructors, cars, books... and swimming pool with sauna. - The swimming pool is only for adults or big kids, no small "frog" pool for the very small guests. The kids playing hall is without heating, was quite fresh there (my husbant and one kid have got flue there)... And it was not cleaned enought, there was big dust particles bettween toys... Also dust was in the room, for instance, above aestetic lamp elements. The carpets smell not very fresh. There are too many waiters during dinner. They stressed us, coming every 2 minutes and searching for dirty dishes to take out. At this time we were trying to feed 2 small kids, proposing them different kind of food, so we have to take care also that all food are still with us, and not 'cleaned' by waiter. The same time they never cleaned kinder chairs, so I always cleaned it myself before using... The light in the room are too dark, without possibility to make it brighter((( The walls did not isolate sounds from neiboring rooms. So we had a bit difficulties to get sleep our kids: we heard voices of kids from other rooms))))

  Pssst....do you like a complete work/life balance package?

  The first impression is not deceptive ... very friendly staff..very large comfortable room..super soft mattress ... very good food ... great wellness area .. oh yes ... I forgot ..I was to work there ... free WiFi ... somehow it's great if you can work well and relax afterwards ... that's quality ... thank you

  IASRE host hotel

  Goebel's Hotel Rodenberg was a host hotel for IASRE show again this year. What I can say after visiting this hotel for 5th or 6th time is that they are improving from visit to visit. Staff speaking english better every time. Food and rooms great as ever before

  Good views, facilities and friendly, helpful staff

  The hotel is well positioned at the top of the hillside overlooking the town, which is a beautiful view, especially as the sun rises or sets (although unfortunately the hotel's own extension is in the way of part of the view). The hotel's leisure facilities are extensive, including a very good sized swimming pool and decent wellness facilities. All the staff in the hotel were friendly and spoke good enough English to help someone like me - I speak only a little German. The day after leaving the hotel, I thought that I had left my car keys in the hotel by mistake, and the hotel reception staff were very helpful in answering my slightly panicked enquiries by phone. Although I found my keys elsewhere, the response I received from the hotel's staff left me with a very positive view of the hotel, and I would certainly go back, perhaps with the whole family next time. Only a short stay on this occasion, but a very restful and relaxing one.

  What you expect .

  Nice large but still cosy Hotel with good views , polite staff and good rooms. not so lucky that we arrived when the only food was a Buffet ! 3 restaurants but no a la carte? Very good service and well done to Mustafa , very attentive and professionel waiter.
