  A modest budget hotel in the heart of Sunway City

  Its a small but well maintained budget hotel. Guests are given an option to choose their stay at either the old building o the new one as the prices are almost the same. Its just that the new building has a bistro downstairs so its very convenient. You will be given breakfast vouchers. Staff is humble and welcoming. Most importantly WIFI speed is really good. Overall, it was a pleasant 8 nights stay because its right behind Sunway pyramid shopping mall and therefore you can easily get the free shuttle bus for travelling around the place.

  Nice Cheap Cosy Hotel

  If u r looking for a cheap yet clean ,cosy and comfortable budget hotel, then try GM Hotel at Sunway Metro. Hotel provides breakfast at the restaurant across the hotel. For RM 100 plus Ringgit, Id say its a nice place if you just need to bunk .

  Don't expect much

  The only great point about this hotel is the location. A stone's throw from sunway pyramid mall and surrounded by cafetaria, shops and minimarkets. The rooms are very small even on their highest tier deluxe room (13 sqm). My biggest complaint is room cleaning. I had to cut short my 7 night stay to 4, due to room not cleaned for a few nights, despite me informing reception. My room was left in dusty and messy state. Housekeeping staff were uncaring. Some more it was very noisy outside at night, the windows are not noiseproof. You have been warned. The manager did offer to move me to neighboring hotel as a gesture of goodwill after I complained, but i rejected since I could not withstand the mess anymore. I would not come back to this hotel again.

  Best budget hotel in Sunway

  This was the 4th or 5th time I stay in this hotel. I always stay here everytime I go to Sunway, Malaysia. The room is quite small, so please consider if you bring many luggages. It is clean. So is the bathroom. Amenities are standard but in good condition and quality. The hotel also provide kettle and 2 bottles of water. Air con, hot shower, wifi, all work well. The hotel has a great Indian style breakfast although the options are limited. Unfortunately, the last time I come here the breakfast is not free anymore like it used to be. The location is best. Walking distance to Sunway Pyramid Mall, Sunway Lagoon, and sorrounded by restaurants, grocery, and many other shops. The place is alive almost 24hours. Very near the BRT station so transportation would never be an issue. Very recommended.
