  Pretty enough for business trip

  Hotel Gloria Palace has really good location near the city centre. Round a corner there is a big shopping centre and also there is very closely a historical centre of the Kosice. Quality of the rooms, also service and the stuff meets to their three star rating. Breakfast could be more varied. Overall I was satisfied so that I used this hotel more times in last few months. So, if you are looking for a hotel with good position to the centre and good sleep this is a good choice. I can recommend, for business trip for sure.

  Staff very kind and thoughtful

  We were booked at Gloria Palac by a Polish cycle touring company. We stayed one night and enjoyed a spacious and comfy room and an excellent breakfast. What really stands out is the service we received from the receptionist, Natalja. The morning of our departure my husband was feeling very unwell and knew he could not cycle the next stage. I asked her about trains and she printed a timetable for me and explained that there was no train until the evening. She then arranged for us to ride with our luggage to the next hotel. The young man who drove us also organized for our bikes to be transported later. These two young people showed great compassion and really helped us out. This is the second time the staff of a family-run hotel in Slovakia has gone out of its way to be extremely helpful. We recommend this hotel, and Slovakia in general as a great place to visit!

  ts so closed city centre. Everywhere walking distanc.

  The rooms are clean, the staff is friendly, the breakfast is very rich and fresh. It is 3 minutes to the main street where the bars and cafes are. There are shopping centers and markets around. You can go from airport 10 dolars by taxi or you can find a public transport.

  Good for a one-night stay

  The room, while large, was a bit odd (especially the furniture), but very comfortable for a one-night stay. It is a little run-down and it would have been really nice to have a kettle in the room. Hotel is walking distance from train/bus station and right across from the mall, and easy walk to the center of town.

  It's OK for a couple of nights, but very noisy

  Don't expect too much for the price you pay, but it is enough for 1 of 2 nights. The hotel is quite old. You can realize it once you enter in it but it is more remarkable in the rooms, with old furniture and facilities. Breakfast is very simple but OK for a 3 stars hotel. The only big contra I see is that the hotel is very very noisy. In fact, on one saturday night we were there, there was a wedding in the ground floor and even if we were on the third floor we heard the music, the voices and so on during the night. Another great thing is the location, in front of a mall and very close to the city center (5 minutes) and the bus stop to take the bus back to the airport (2 minutes).
