  Our yearly time to un-stress.

  We have been coming here for the past 20 yrs. or so. We included our sons and their families over the last 15 yrs. Every year we all look forward to our December visit and the grandkids can't wait. We are able to bond and have a great time. All of us swim for hours or sit in the hot tub. Our usual stores are visited and we do some of our Christmas shopping in Sturgeon Bay. We hate that the weekend goes by much too soon, but look forward to the next year. What a gem we have found in this resort.

  Leisure retreat

  Excellent accomodations. Full kitchen stocked with all dishware for 8. Dishwasher. Gas fireplace and jetted tub. Awesome view of the bay. Hot tub and pool were nice and as it wasnt a busy weekend for the winter time, there was no one else in there the 2 times we went.

  Perfect!

  My husband and I have been coming up to Glidden Lodge since 1996. It is our go to place to recharge and relax. We had a wonderful time as this is the quiet season up in Door County. Lots of restaurants and shops were open! We had room 101 which is a wonderful corner unit! Our first time in that room and we enjoyed it. Again, it was perfect as always.

  Mid-Winter Escape

  This was our first visit to Glidden Lodge and it won't be our last! Reception was wonderful, the condo was beautiful (we had a 2 bed/2 bath), the view of the lake was amazing! It was the coldest weekend of the year so far, so we really enjoyed the gas fireplace and the large selection of channels on the TV. we also just liked sitting and looking out the window at the lake. Had dinner 1 night at Donny's Glidden Lodge/ It was fantastic!!

  Better than we expected

  My wife and I were looking for a place to get away for a few days. We just wanted to relax and have peaceful place to be. We've been to Donny's Glidden Inn Restaurant before, so we knew this resort was here. We saw the Winter Fling special and the very high reviews, so we thought we'd give it a try. It was better than we expected. We knew going in that we were getting a one bedroom unit, with a full kitchen, etc. But, the unit itself was immaculate. The view of the water, beach, was fabulous. And all units face the lake, so you don't have to worry about not getting a unit that faces the water. It was so great to wake up every morning to a sunrise over Lake Michigan, and sit in front of the window with a book and coffee. Since we were there on weekdays, and it was the winter season, it was naturally slower than it would be on a weekend or during the summer. So, it was kind of nice to have limited guests, and kind of have the place to ourselves. But, that being said, they also make a point of posting signs in various places telling people that loud, disturbing behavior will not be permitted. That is very nice, because some places allow people to just run wild. As I said, the room was immaculate, and the kitchen was just as if you were in your own. I would say we will definitely be back, and maybe for even a longer stay next time. Would love to come back in the summer. Make it a point to stay here if you are looking for a resort in Door County.
