Dump !This must have been a great place in it's heyday, however sadly is now pretty run down and needing refurbished. When you enter you notice the general state, with cracks in plaster, cobwebs round light fittings etc and filthy hand marks around door handles. Staff were 'ok' and food average. When we had our meals, we were directed to a window seat and found it to be very draughty, as the windows are not very air tight and there are no curtains fitted, yet vacant curtain rails adorn the windows. Poor selection of drinks at bar. Only had to spend 1 night here, Thank Goodness.

David Urquhart TripGot Back Last Night from the Glenmorag.I was a bit worried reading some of the reviews beforehand, but was really surprised. I went with a Friend as we are both recently widowed, and we booked with David Urqharts. I cant understand some of the reviews. The Hotel is Very Old and Definitely in need of Some refurb, ( A Bit Like Me) But it was Clean, the Staff were really nice, especially the Waiters and Waitresses in the Dining room, The Bed linen and towels were really clean and changed during Our 5 Night stay, and the beds were really comfy. We had 3 trips, Bed, Breakfast and Evening Meal,Coach Travel through out, and entertainment every night, all for less than £35 per day, just dont know what people want for the money. The meals were quite good too, especially the Breakfast, You choose from the Menu which items you wanted and it was brought to your table, along with a rack of toast. You picked Your evening meal choice at Breakfast, A Meat, Fish, Vegetarian, or Salad Dish, along with Your Starter and Desert Choice. The Entertainment was also quite Good, Our Favourite was the One on the Monday Night, but that depends on what Music you like, but they were all good. If it wasnt so far we would definitely go back, but it was just a bit too far away for us. We Enjoyed the Trips too, and had a Good time with some of the other guests. All in All we had a Great Time and really enjoyed Ourselves.
